What sheets etc do you use in the carrycot bit of the pram? The same you'd use in the moses/cotbed? I hadn't even thought of that bit! :o

Oooh that's so exciting Skint_cat Which buggy/pram did you go for? I'm obsessed with prams :o

I think it's the same as the moses basket, if the base of your pram is oval. In M&P's anyway the sheets are labelled as "moses basket/pram"

It's ridiculous that the powers that be in this country can't sort these things out. I realise they're not God and can't stop snow or bad weather, but other countries seem to manage, with weather worse than ours! Although I do laugh in London where it's one inch of snow and all hell breaks loose, must be because they aren't used to it :p

We are in SW London Gilly... and yes, ground to a halt, but then we did have about 10" in a few hours.. plus i work at Heathrow, where we didnt fare much better, so glad i wont be at work to get stuck there in labour.

Sorry if i stressed any of you out with my panic. bad kira.

Thanks :o Got my sheets/blankets from Matalan (£5 for 2) so will go and get some more! Can't believe I forgot something so important :o

Got the Uppababy Vista (in Red) - not cheap (£550) but comes with EVERYTHING you could possibly need (carrycot, carseat adapters, sun visors & mossie nets etc), is VERY light & manouverable & lots of features we liked.

Nah, its fine Gilly, i know exactly what you mean. Especially London Transport. Wrong rain, wrong snow, wrong leaves, wrong wind.. All stop!

Cool looking pushchairs ladies! Its the fun bit of being pg, doing the choosing and buying. So far DH has just agreed with whichever things i have said are the best ones to get. Being winter beanie, i bought some lovely cosy accessories, a "travel bag" (like a sleeping bag but for in the car seat/pram/pushchair), a wallaboo snuggly foot muff thing, and a matching leaf wrap. Love it!
