I have a special cup that noone drinks out of, I aim into that and then pour it into the tube

Lol i struggle too,which is why I prefer to do a sample at home,so I can strip off which I find easier. Don't know why..I'm just weird i guess:o:rotfl:

Oh I do mines at home didn't think about that. Any appointment I've had, they've given me the little foil dishes, so they're not too bad.

how fiddly for a pregnant woman, you'd think they would have figured that out by now.

I have my fetal heart scan tomorrow, we got referred 8 weeks ago, because of the suspected fluid on the brain, but now that's all okay, I'm not sure I should still be going, but it's the last time I'll get to see bubs before he's born so I didn't want to cancel

Plus I've only heard his heartbeat a handful of times, so this will be another one of the collection. OH can't make it, so his mum is coming, so it'l be nice for her I guess.

It is great to hear the heartbeat hey! So reassuring!

Ask them for a drink of water, they will most likely return with a plastic cup, I drink the water then use the cup for collection and pouring into the tube.

I would still go on the basis that is an additional health check up for baby. If the hospital didn't think you should be having it they would have cancelled it.

Well, last day at work for me and I am so relieved as I am like a zombie each evening after work I have an easy day ahead as I completed my last pieces of work yesterday. All I have to do today is transfer all my electronic files, hand in my keys, phone and petty cash. I'm going out for a Bon Voyage lunch with some clients and colleagues which should be nice. Now that I have said all that I have probably jinxed myself and will end up having a manic day :eek:
