Morning All
Mozzy - I honestly have never produced a sample on demand during this pregnancy! I always take it with me, yes I have those tubes which I could not possibly pee into (clearly designed for men ) so Agree with other ladies about using cups, I bought some cheap plastic disp picnic cups sainsburys basics and just transfer to tube and chuck the cup. If you have to produce on demand can just stash one in your handbag.
WW - enjoy your last day!
Gilly - hope you enjoy seeing bubs again.
Watched some of the antenatal online videos with hubby, the labour overview was very good now for the in depth
warning *rant*
I think that I have passed the honeymoon period as am gereatric in bed & I can barely move, the clicking of bones is freaking me out when I get up, I have a horrible rash on inner thighs and under tummy which I have prescribed cream for but it is :mad::mad:, I am trying to keep cool in bed & now have thin blanket but lying with legs together (and pillow between which I need) is not helping  think that my weight has finally caught up with me. Think that because I have no tummy muscles bump is lower hence ideal conditions for rash. hubby moaning this morning as its such a performance getting in and out of bed he is getting really disturbed.
Oh and then theres the waking up as you think you are going to vomit but its the acid thing, never had heartburn before pregnancy so did not know what it wasmy solution is to eat hob nobs to get rid of acid taste and go back to sleep which is stupid I know!!
*on a more positive note*
two visits from friends with babies so I better pay attention !
*fingers crossed*
for my friends:Amum she is having a major op today

Fingers crossed it's all fine Jenjade.
I had the opposite on tuesday, a whole day of wimpy weak movements that got me really stressed, no reaction to usual favourite sounds either. But there was movement, though very different to normal, so I didn't ring anyone. Soon as I laid down that night, all stressed out, baby started some epic movement that went on most of the night! We think, looking at the shape of me, they went from crossways very high up, to one or other end pointing downwards.0 -
Jen, good luck
WW, enjoy the last day!
Gilly, Hope you enjoy seeing baby, the app will be worth it
Ro, The clicking etc- I really really wish that was all I got! Hope you never feel cracking. Can echo everything else you said though- it isn't nice. Best of luck for your friends mum.
When I get up, it's instant pain down my back and pelvis, which eases after a few minutes. I'm fine most of the day, but start getting tired and sore coming into early afternoon. by evening time, I'm stiff and have to shuffle (so hard not to feel 90!), and by late evening, I'm in pain.....
The swimming definitely helped though, have asked DH can we go back soon. I have to wait for him, as I really don't want to go on my own. It's a combination of being pregnant and scared of slipping, and being half blind and needing led around when I'm there because their lighting is so low! I can't see the steps into the pool without my glasses- the colour isn't different enough.
They let me use the kids pool as it was warmer, better lit, and there were lessons in the adult pool- was worried about the kids hitting bump by mistake....
Urine samples- just wait til you're at my stage, and can't pee on demand, despite needing a toilet every couple of minutes during any other stage of the day! Luckily I can bring them in with me.0 -
Wonder Womble They weren't even sure if I had to go or not, they couldn't even make there mind up if I had an appointment or not, and then said "well if you get one through the post its up to yourself, if you don't want to come in, cancel it" Helpful huh? Enjoy your last day.
Good Luck JenI'm sure it'l all be fine.
Thanks everyone else, I'm sure I will, not til 3.20 though, hospital will be mobbed because it's visiting time. Stressful isn't the word. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Children In Need has a lot to answer for... there's loads of stuff that goes on here in the office to raise money, and my team are doing a cake sale. Most people on the team have baked and brought something in. I now have on my desk: 3 cookies, a large slice of chocolate marble cake and a slab of fruit flapjack... But at least charity food has no calories, right...?:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0
