I've got to say I had a much better sleep last night with OH sleeping on the floor, I was able to just roll over in bed instead of trying to shuffle over.

hi ya yes I am here, sorry, just been a bit out of sorts today. Got a stonking headache and wasnt able to have my afternoon sleep as I just couldn't sleep that and yet another wonderful conversation with my mother this morning, where she referred to me as a weeble and a bit temprimental!!! So not the happiest of bunnies.

OH is due home tomorrow, although he was supposed to text me when he got on shore and that was hours ago, I can only assume his phone hasn't received the signal again, but he should be on his flight home at about 10pm his time, 1am our time, and he should arrive back at 9.30pm tomorrow night, so looking forward to seeing him.

Have really sore nipples today, I keep thinking each extra symptom I get is a labour sign but it obviously isn't lol

I'm in my pyjamas hiding from trick or treaters, even though I bought some sweets for them, mind you no one has knocked, but then I have the lights down low and black out curtains so it doesn't look like anyones in oh dear what will I do with all the sweets?!

I'm bouncing on my ball in the living room watching come dine.

ooh OH just text he is safely onshore phew, even though he does the trips a thousand times I still worry with every helicopter flight and every plane journey, silly I know.

Will do my usual tidy up of the house tomorrow and make sure everything is sparkling clean and then he can spend the next 2 weeks looking after me

Glad your ok and OH is on his way! I know what you mean about the flights and worrying etc.....my husband flies a lot and is away on and off throughout the year but I still make him email me when he lands every time just so I know all is ok.

Hi ladies, happy halloween!

So I went mental at OH yesterday after the no text thing. I did a lot of crying and he looked mortified. He really is a good one generally and I almost felt bad that he looked so sad. I told him I was broken, that moving back from Oz and being the one to sort everything has really taken it's toll on me. All is fine now, I think he "gets it" finally.

I also decided to bring my mat leave forward meaning instead of finishing on the 24th Nov, I'd finish on the 15th. Told boss today and she is not happy..... Her stupid fault for not sorting out my mat cover or replacing the girl who left today. Our other colleague is currently signed off sick so rather than winding down, I'm now doing 3 people's jobs!! Problem is because I've got annual leave to use before mat leave officially starts I think she's reluctant to approve it and is now going to be her usual difficult self.....

Anyway need some din-dins. Hope you're all good, BM x

Wondered if I may be allowed to join this thread. I'm now just over 16 weeks with my 2nd and due on the 17th April. Have an 11 yr old son who's looking forward to being a big brother. Going to be a single mum as my OH has decided to leave me which was charming

Cloudberry it is always just such a worry, I just want him home!

Right from the research I have done I need to go to holland and barrett and get some arnica tablets to help with healing, I think I read you're supposed to take them 3 days before due date, also need lavender and tea tree essential oils for healing. I need to get clary sage which is another oldwives tale for bringing on labour to put in the bath. Also vit c to help with healing. Still need to get witch hazel and lilypadz. Am currently on 3 big mugs of RLT a day, with 2 teabags in each, so 6 a day, to be honest I don't actually think it has been doing anything, have been taking it for 2 weeks now and no increase in tightness or anything. ho hum.
