Well I've spent a fun afternoon on the kitchen floor, defrosting the freezer. Realised yesterday it's been nearly two years since we moved in to this house and I've never done it! (will edit later and insert 'shocked' smiley face here, as am typing on my phone and can't be !!!!!d to 'go advanced')

Evening ahead is burgers and homemade potato wedges, sofa, x factor and doughnuts...

Sorry to those having troublesome OHs, they really do take the biscuit sometimes! Kira, sorry to hear about your car, that's really not what you need right now! What was he thinking?!

Must go feed the cats, one of them has been following me around the house and whining for about half an hour, anyone would think I've been starving her all week!

Ok just looked in the freezer and nothing looking even remotely fish pie like in there. I could make one I suppose...... or waste my money on fish and chips.....

EDIT actually might just have fish fingers and mash, the lazy way out :)

I'm going out for dinner tonight, and I cannot wait, so hungry. Arrived back today after a week of being away and no bread and the milk was out of date  so nothing much to eat. Just ordered a mammoth Sainsbos order for Monday too. Have no energy to get ready, too hungry!!

Good work on the freezer! I really need to do ours ready for the big batch cook/freeze!

Fortunately its HIS car that he knacked. MY car is perfectly fine. He is insured on it, but i'm not feeling like letting him use it tomorrow to go to his martial arts class, now he proved he drives like a prat. Snag being it means i have to drive him there and pick him up if he cant drive himself..

Am typing sideways as we speak, as cat 2 has taken up puuursition on a cushion on my lap so cant have the laptop in front of me. She is not inclined to move....

Well ladies, an uneventful day here thankfully after last night.

Had grand plans to go to the shops for rollers and paint brushes and a pick your own topping pizza from asda but its raining and i am exhausted after a fairly sleepless night. Builder has been round and removed all the ladders from the scaffolding so that should stop the little scrotes getting up there again tonight. I shall be shutting the curtains soon and pretending im not in to any halloween callers. I wonder if they realise how intimidating it is as a woman home alone when someone knocks at the door or is lurking outside the house after dark?

Fingers crossed that the challenge of navigating their way through the breezeblock and bricks maze that is the driveway will deter any callers.

Missy moo i am worried about the next assignment as the topic is not something i am familiar with so i think it could take some time to complete!

Mamma- when asda and boots had the huggies newborn bpxes reduce to £2.50 or £3 i bought loads using the £2 off voucher inside plus i used £1 vouchers out the emmas diary books to get most of them free. I have been swapping the newborns for larger sizes!:rotfl:

Lol, thanks! It really needed doing as well! It's one of those jobs I mean to do for ages but the freezer never seems empty enough to do it. Don't think I did too badly though. My back aches from sitting on the kitchen floor though. OH has spent the afternoon sat on the sofa playing Batman, so he can make dinner...

We've only got one car, technically mine... I hate the way OH drives, always foot on the gas then slamming on the brakes, ramming it through the gears, etc... However he thinks there's nothing wrong with the way he drives and I can't say anything to him when he's driving as it winds him up. I'm trying to subconsciously educate him about driving economically but seeing as he thinks there's nothing wrong with how he drives, I just feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall. We've only had this car 6 weeks and I can already sense things going the same way they did with our previous car, it was in and out of the garage all the time with different warning lights coming on... I'm not saying he caused them per se, but I think his driving aggravated them. Anyway... :)
