I have just sorted all the boxes under the stairs so all the big nappies (size 3 and 4) are right at the back and the blankets, newborn stuff is at the front.
other half thinks baby will come early and he recons she will be here in 3 weeks! eeekkk
he could be right as that would be the worse time with builders etc in:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

i was adament that baby was going to be really early, but now with 2.5 weeks to go I'm now thinking I'm going to go over, so I'm here for the duration I think
am just so impatient and uncomfortable would very much like baby to be here soon

My Nan thinks the same (being early), I just ignore her and remind myself I went nearly a week over last time.
Just got some little drawers to put baby clothes in, I've been holding off washing them until I had somewhere better than plastic bags to put them in. If I scrub the drawers out with antibac wipes and then leave to dry thoroughly, that should be enough, shouldn't it?0 -
Well a busy day so far here, a trip to the Sausage Festival (no giggles there please ladies!) which involved parking miles away and waddling there and back with DS. Been sorting out outfits for a Halloween party tonight, DS' reasonably easy zombie involved just ripping some old school clothes, bit of fake blood, then some grey make up to follow. OH wanted a Shaun from Shaun of the Dead ensemble so a white shirt with more fake blood, authentic name badge printing out, and a cricket bat made of a cardboard tube and a sheet of cardboard. Doesn't look too bad actually! My effort is rather more lame, nothing is going to fit over my belly and I'm not spending anything anyway so a white sheet with a hole cut out and some white make up will have to do as a ghost! I'm trying at least!
Plus we got the carpet fitted in the nursery today (eventually!) so can empty and move the wardrobe from DS' room into there and put all of her little clothes (and the million other things that MIL has bought!) in it to clear our bedroom. Tomorrow will be moving the rest of the furniture from DS' room so his carpet can go down on Mon afternoon, then his new wardrobe can go up. A lot of stuff over the next couple of days, but at least it'll have just about fit into my end of October schedule for getting sorted.Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -
hugs mimi, Were things okay with him before you feel pregnant? or was he alway like that?
No, was never ever like this. It/he was perfect. He says the baby never changed anything and that it was/is me. We both have done and said things we regret, I've forgiven and forgot, where as he wont.
I think the problem I have is I just can't seem to stay away from him. I've wanted to be with him since I was 16, but we was always with someone. I was even meant to get married to someone else but it was always OH I wanted. Finally got together, and it was amazing (even he would tell you that) but it keeps going wrong just recently. I think he didn't want something this serious.10 years is a long time to love someone and its heartbreaking it isn't working0 -

I am so cross and upset! We are just back from our second attempt at the 4d scan, and Bean was still being awkward with her arms around her face. We got a BIT more of a look this time, so we did see her closed eyes, cheek and nose, and she looked so gorgeous, but wasnt a proper peek. We only get one more shot now for the money we paid (alot), and that is it. Bit upsetting, but at leasat we have had a mini peek.
What i am really cross and upset about.... on the way there and the way back from the scan DH was driving like a tw*t, sticking his foot down on the accelerator, and then having to brake hard. I told him it was really uncomfortable for me and bean when he did it on the way there, and he was mildly apologetic (but not alot). Queue journey home, and he did it a few more times, including one huge one at some lights when totally unncessarily he tried to burn up an audi next to us who had the lane right of way in a lane merge, and then had to slam brake when the other car beat him. 1/4 of a mile further on, he gets a warning message on the car saying basically "transmission fu*ked, stuck in 5th gear, if you stop the car, it wont restart, drive slowly home and call BMW". So had to creep home the rest of the 6 miles, hoping we didnt stall and get stuck at every red light. He helpfully added i should hope we made it, cos otherwise i would have to walk the rest of the way cos he wasnt paying for a taxi. He is now in a foul mood as his precious M5 which he bought (2nd hand) for more money than he ought to have spent (wouldnt be told at the time), is knacked, and looks like over £1000 to fix, right when we need to save all our pennies. I am convinced his f'ing stupid manouvre at the lights caused it, so am having little sympathy..Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Kira *hugs* men and their toys wont be told.
Im having a pants day today, feeling icky and light headed all day for some reason and just cant sleep, havent showered now for like 3 days so going to have to drag my behind in at some point before DH turns the garden hose on me.
Planning on a very quite night in front of the telly with a dvd and some sponge cake. I managed to make a victoria sponge as DH wouldnt make me one and wouldnt go out to get me one  so thankfully just chucked everthing in the kenwood and let it run for a few mins to mix and then chucked it in the oven. still got to make the buttercream but that takes seconds to do.
wanting a chinese but the only decent one round here doesnt deliver and not sure if i want to risk driivng to get one, will see how i feel after a shower. DH cant drive as hes just opened a beer so will see how i get on in a bit.0 -
