Busy morning for deliveries too! The fisher price aquarium baby bath i won on ebay for about £4 arrived by courier. Chuffed with that- it has a fabric sling that fits in it, to support the baby without you having to hold on to slippery wigglers! Its in really good condition!
And then the postie brought the Papoozle baby sling/carrier i won for £10 (instead of about £50). Just tried it out, and is pretty straight forward and comfy, and even fits around my pregnant tummy, so should be fine once bean has arrived. Yay!

I'm looking forward to going to see the midwife on wednesday, one because OH can come with me and I know he likes feeling involved, and two beacause I want to see if baby has engaged at all, any tips on how to make him get his head in gear as such?

All fours is good position too. "Get cleaning those skirting boards" as my aquanatal MW says. Or just lean over a birthing ball if you dont want to be energetic! :D

I got to sleep at 3am, woke at 5.30am, dozed a little for a few mins after that.... Damn hips!

That's what time I got to sleep too, although I managed to stay asleep until 7am. I am knackered now.

Just made pumpkin and bacon soup for lunch

Men! Told this to my OH, who replied "I can think of a way to get you on all fours"

Although he did do the kitchen last night before bed (which was a disgrace).

Those still short of a changing bag, have you signed up to the Boots club and got the free one? Only very basic of course, but it'll do me to start with. :D And the Sainsburys baby club freebie comes with a little fold up changing mat. You have to buy nappies to get the freebies, but then you can never have too many nappies. :D

Just switched 3 more packs of size 1s at Tesco, think I might have to leave the last 3 till I'm off out somewhere though, mine's only a small store and they always seem to ask lots of questions!

I've still got loads to buy, think I need to make a list and split it with the other half. In the beginning I was so insistent that we could afford it and I wouldn't need loads of cash from him, that I seem to have paid for most of what we have! He is buying the car seat though, and we're splitting the pram between us and all the parents. If I decide which one I want, having second thoughts about the one I'd picked out.
  • I've inherited my cousin's Boots changing bag, which she never got round to using.

Urgh, need to go to the shop, but have just looked out the window. And I can't be lazy as my car's at mum's a good eight miles away.
