it looks like the babies will be in size 3 for a while so if you are planning on using mainly washable i guess having some size 3 would be handy for if baby has the runs etc!

Yes, I'll probably have a few disposables kicking around for lazy days/emergencies/outings where it would be awkward to use reusables. I'll probably swap for 3s at some point, if I swap for 2s first at this price then those to 3s, presumably I'd get more value for them than going 1 to 3?

From what I've read, apparently the ebay cheapies are ok, especially if you boost them with better inserts than come with them, or change often? I'm eyeing up these cos they're UK based, they just ended but I'd think they'll be relisted? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330618712949?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Edited to add, the ones you linked to don't seem to come with inserts, so you'd have to buy those separately anyway?
  • Ok - its official - my DD is spoilt . . . . . lol

She's having £250 spent on her at xmas (This is first year i've set a "bugdet")

Brought her some new pyjamas and slippers from disney store - £47.85!!!!! Not very MSE but Very cute!

How am I gonna afford £250 for DD, £200 OH and then £250 for baby LOL
  • Missy dont worry, I only get emails from DH when he is away as they dont give out the number of the satelite phone on ship and the emails are few and far between depending on what he is doing. When ive needed to contact him Ive phoned the girls in the office that do the manning and planning and they have got a message to him for me so there are ways and means of getting in touch with him and trust me they are more than accustomed to dealing with hysterical wives and girlfriends.

lol thanks guys and thanks seafarers i guess my main concern would be if i was able to get a message to him, how long it would take him to get off the boat. As i think there are only 5 flights a week to gatwick and would hate for him to just miss a flight, he'd have to go from boat to the rig to get his stuff then a helicopter to land then a 2 hour transfer to the airport, then an 18 hr flight! its crazy, theres no way he'd ever make it in time. mind you if he was on the rig he still wouldnt make it in time anyway so i dont know why im worrying, doesnt really change anything. i guess id just quite like him to be home really x

Some of you ladies have loads of nappies - I feel left out now! I've bought quite a lot of size 1 nappies, but not bought any bigger sizes! I need to pull my finger out!

I did buy the cutest outfit from Asda before (hidden in with the weekly shop!) Its a hungry caterpillar pj set with little hat - so cute and suitable for a boy or girl!
