well ive done two hours of studying, nowhere near enough though, am just having soup for my lunch its scrummy.

Toniq I get all sorts of movements, in out up and down, i have more wiggles than kicks now. Now here is a strange question, does anyone hear their baby kick, it sounds so odd i know, but sometimes I hear a skin on skin small slap like noise, it isnt all the time just sometimes, I havent heard anyone else say anything like this maybe its just me, but it is definite noise.

    Morning everyone,

Hubby and me are starting to look at our nursery choices nearby, as I that know some have waiting lists. Has anyone else looked at nurseries? What sort of things should I be looking at, or asking about? Here's my list so far........
Opening hours, drop off & pick up times.
    Costs
Are they open all year round?
Do you pay when you take the child out for holidays/sickness?
Do they accept the childcare vouchers?
Do I supply food, nappies etc etc or do they do this
Activities & general plan of care
    Ofstead registered?

Anyone have any more advice? Hoping to start in the next week (ish), but feel a little clueless....... :)

How many antenatal appointments have you all had? By mat leave, I will have had 11 appointments- work are querying with HR as to whether this is a reasonable amount of time off or not.

Hi Lirin, I'm 26 weeks and have had 9 already (excl my private scan at 8 weeks which I booked after work anyway). I'll be way over 11 by the time I reach full term :)

Thank you. I had a consultant's appointment today, which went absolutely fine- baby is measuring perfect apparantly.

Only trouble being the usual wait to be seen was so long today- I was waiting just over an hour to be seen, and ended up worrying whether I'd have any trouble from work when I headed back in. I don't want to be stressed when I'm waiting for baby to be scanned, but that's the way I guess. I know I'm doing absolutely nothing wrong, but the atmosphere is bad- thankfully have Mr Pratchett in with me today for company!

Yay for a good consultants appointment. Always a relief to be told all is well! If you had to pay for parking at the hospital, maybe keep the ticket, as it should show your arrival and departure time to prove thats where you were for the whole time, not skiiving of home for a bit?

On a separate note, how much paracetamol due you think is ok to take? I've just been stuck on the kitchen floor for 20 minutes, and now i'm up, i'm in pain! I knelt down to pack away the huge sainsburys shop into the under the counter fridge (flipping hate that thing), started to go a bit dizzy (always happens when i'm kneeling!) and sciatica pain started, so sat on the floor instead, and then couldnt get up again for pain down my bum into my right leg. Had to wait it out for the worst to pass before levering myself up in a most undignified manner!
Not taken any pain killers all pregnancy till now, but it hurts so much and my leg is dragging a bit, so feel like i have to. But not sure how much i can take?

Just popped in my local Tesco, huggies first size are up to £3.71 in there, and size 2 down to £3.98 I think it was? I must take some in and try to swap, I haven't done any yet, and seems like a good deal to swap almost 1 for 1.

I had to take some paracetamol last week when I had my killer cold, and I just took one tablet instead of two, to try and take the edge off...

Just had a quick look on babycentre and it says 'Follow the dosage instructions on the packet and use it for the shortest time possible'
