On the subject of Mothers/MIL etc looking after baby, i would LOVE someone to offer, as otherwise bean will be in nursery 4 or 5 days a week when i go back at 6 months. Unfortunately my mum lives over 3 hours away, so she is out (even when she is recovered from her illness/op), and my MIL, whilst lovely, and both she and FIL are now both retired (both under 65 and very fit and young), is fairly traditional, and thinks that i should be taking 5 years off work to dedicate myself to bringing up baby whilst DH works all the hours (other examples, DH should also not be at the birth, i should use baby nap times purely for housework and not napping myself, and ready meals should never be eaten). Hence i get the distinct impression, that they are extremely disinclined to offer even a day on the basis that i should be doing it myself. Not that i would expect it, but would be nice for bean to be with family a bit too.
That only leaves my dad and Step mum. I did hold out some hope as she works from home part time, as does dad, and she was SOOOOO excited about having first grandchild, even more so when we found out it was a girl. BUT her eldest son is now expecting their first with his wife, so will be her first "blood" grandchild, so i think she will worry that if she had ours one day, she would have to have theirs too. Which i agree might be a bit much.

    Hey ho!

Lovely pic durham, can't believe you haven't got a name, are you finding it that hard to choose, bless you x

Well I'm bouncing again not sure why as per yesterday but im hoping its doing something.

Well managed to get a very little bit of studying done, how do you all manage to work and stay focused? I finished work at 24 weeks due to school holidays and it making little difference with my SMP, trying to get back into studying is so hard especially as its level 3. But I will try and do a little more at 8 oclock.

Sammy i also had the unidentifiable liquid it was gross!

I would have killed for a lucozade instead. My hubby had banned the stuff just incase i was diabetic and even though my GTT was "within limits" i am still banned from drinking it! Its so unfair. Its not like i want a bottle with every meal and one inbetween... just the odd bottle as a treat would be nice :-)

Original is the best. Cant stand the orange one.

The worst bit is when we visit nan, she has a cupboard full of the stuff and she always offers me one which is swiftly followed by my husband telling her yet again that i cant have any. :-(

What i want more though is dippy eggs. yum yum. cant wait for a dippy egg.

I had Lucozade with my GTT as well. I love the orange one and they now do a cherry one that tastes just like Cherry Tango. Yum!
