I weighed myself recently- I've never actually dieted, just cut out the crap if I felt I was getting heavy. I'm about a stone and a half over my norm. Don't know whether that's normal weight gain or not for my stage- 32+5. Don't really care, tbh! Baby weight will come off after, as long as Hitch is healthy and happy now. Judging from the fierce battering my pelvis is getting, I'd say that isn't a worry.

Missy, she might not have meant it unkindly. If she did, shove her over here for a visit- Northern Irish are quite blunt, and will say what they think- I've had so many jokes from work and family about being used as a doorstop, an anchor in the gale, a wedge at the front of the car if we get snow..... DH laughed silly when the Wii told me I was morbidly obese (no pregnancy setting, then.)

Lirin - think of all the congrats the Wii will give you when you lose loads of weight just like that ;-)

And Kandboys - I woulda told her to frig off and mind her own business, then blame it on the pregnancy.

(I wanted to use that excuse to deface a J*st*n B**b*r cardboad display but mum told me it wouldn't wash)

hello, how is everyone?
i had my 25w midwife appointment and little missy was dancing on my bladder all morning before the appointment - making it hard as i couldn't run to the loo because i needed some to give a urine sample there...

everything is ok, good blood pressure, good heartbeat...

but then i totally forgot to ask for my MATB1 form! ahrgh
Just called the surgery and hope the midwife is still there and can make me the form and I will try and pick it up tomorrow...

BTW, it seems I was in one of the lists, but then someone copied the wrong one...

I was just so shocked she was saying all that to me. As if boys are second class citizens or something?!

Aparently I've got to be weighed at my pre-op next Wednesday which I am dreading. I've told DH to look away!!!!

I'm 26.5 weeks, think I've put on about 10kg... Am not bothered by how much weight I put on, I know I'll be able to lose it after. No matter how many times my mum says to me 'make sure you dont gain too much weight, it's much easier to not put it on rather than lose it after' blah blah blah. I get all that, I really do, but having spent most of the last 18 months on a wedding diet and then doing boot camp sessions twice.three times a week after the wedding, I'm really enjoying just relaxing about the whole thing and eating what I want. And I haven't even been going crazy with food anyway. Just eating sensibly, but just not avoiding stuff I was avoiding before, like potatoes and bread, pasta etc. I just love my food too much. So I guess I'm just taking advantage of the situation and relaxing a bit. I had my 24 week midwife appointment the other week and am measuring pretty much spot on for my dates, I don't seem to be putting weight on anywhere other than bump (and boobs, according to OH), so I'm happy!

I've put on a stone and a half at 36 weeks tomorrow, but im only 5ft 2 so every extra ounce shows, looking forward to going back to the gym though.

oh my mother did mean it in a horrid way, unfortunately shes like that, shes the person who asked me what it felt like to FINALLY have boobies for a change!!! She really is a piece of work!!!!

kandboys- that women needs to get a grip! i don't suppose all her perfect children have blonde hair and blue eyes????
