Morning WW, I do that, keep turning over, woke up with a pain in my stomach as I was laying on my left side, think I was laying a bit too far over. The night before I could just keep turning over and turning over, but that wasn't the case this morning unfortunatley. I don wonder if it is next getting up that is waking me up, they are sooo noisy, and we live in a detached house!!!! I wonder if I would sleep better in the spare room? Mind you that would mean clearing it out as it has been used as a dumping ground since we've done out the nursery!

Well am back with my cuppa, had a handful of frosties too. Flicked the heating on as its freezing and put my fleecy jarmies on. Going to make a list in a minute of all the things I still need to do/get.

Sounds like you are coping wonderfully mirror. Bless your mum helping so much, I've got OH home for 6 weeks so hoping he'll look after me.

Yep have packed some vaseline for my lips, On OBEM a couple of people said they're lips are dry. Ooooh poor you not being able to drink tea, I used to be an 8 cup a day type person, and I mean BIG cups, but when I fell preggars I went straight off it, but we went camping and I love my tea when camping and I made myself drink a cup, since then I've been fine :) Only have decaff now, carry some around with me too. I haven't slept properly through this whole pregnancy, and I think you're right it is your body preparing you, although I've not felt so tired since being off work, although this morning I feel it, although I still cant go back to sleep!

Hey BM crikey we're all up early today, Conference call in bed???? You hard working little missy you!

Been awake since 0400 here! It's absolutely freezing, so I'm amusing myself by emailing Blackadder quotes to a slightly confused boss.

Received a letter yestarday from the Health Visitor, asking to visit next Tuesday! Will have to ring and reschedule, I'm at work for another month almost. Why on earth do they need to see me so early? I haven't had Hitch yet! Snooping session, just?

My lips are really dry- have been wearing a lot of lipstick in work, as I can't stand lipbalm. Mirror, glad you seem to be having a nice time adjusting, it's always nice to have extra help when you need it.

I don't know if you have seen yet, but there is a voucher you can buy on Living Social for £5 to get 1500 Boots advantage points:

I bought 2, so £10 for I will be getting £30 to spend in Boots. Thought it might be useful for some of you.

    Lovely thanks ginvzt. :)

Right best get my bum in gear, midwife in Half an hour. :)
  • That Boots things doesn't look quite as straightforward as it seems though, looks like you have to buy something from a different company via the Boots website to validate / receive the offer. I'm a bit too tired to read through all the T&Cs and make sense of them though!

Glad you got your bag repacked missymoo. I've done the same. Have the basics in the case for baby like nappies, couple of vests and sleepsuits, muslins etc then more stuff in my changing bag so DH can bring it in at a later time.

Am still in so much pain from my pelvis. I'm so clumsy tripping over in the garage. It was getting better too. Feel like an old biddy!

Another tip for boots- log your card on treatstreet.boots.com (I think) It's a Boots website, but allows you to build points by buying from Mothercare, Ebay, John Lewis, etc.... There's a list of affiliated shops. Only downside is you have to visit a Boots shop to collect the points in their sickly pink kiosks.

Karen- Hey, just think of it this way- you're just getting in prep for living to a nice, comfortable old age. I'm the same. One day, I'm 30, the next I feel 90.....
  • Ive joined in the not sleeping club but spent most of last night reading which isnt good as will have no books left for when baby is here at this rate lol.

not sure when to start packing my hospital bag. im 31 weeks today, so was thinking of doing it in about a month or is that to late? we only live 5 miles from the hospital so dont need to cart everything with me like i usually do as planning on using my cabin bag on wheels for my stuff and leaving baby stuff in my overnight bag without wheels.

I need to actually get my parents a house key as they are driving down when im in labour so this way they will be able to get straight in the house and if i need anything well if i can trust my mum to rumage through my house who can i trust? :rotfl:

baby isnt as active the past few days as it has been but when it kicks im getting full on belted and its also changed its activity times, more so now last thing at night its active and through the night which is fun, probably why im not sleeping properly as well.

looking forward to today, DH has said we can go to TGI Fridays for late lunch/early dinner so happy about htat, just got to wait in for a delivery first which is any time up to 6pm :( so it best be here sooner rather than later as I WANT MY YUMMY FOOD.

off to get something to eat and start the day.
