Ta Jen, I never even thought about them as we're Sterling over here- then the D'oh moment passed and remembered a lot of places take Euros too.... (and ta Cloudberry)

I feel like a watermelon now. Everyone keeps asking me when I'm going to go, and they all seem quite disappointed when I tell them it's almost two months still! (At some point, that will seem real. I'll apologise in advance then, there's a post in the offing sometime in the next six weeks which will probably be long, rambly and hysterical.)

Oh I am so upset and really peeved off! When I went to get DS2 from nursery one of the mums asked how long I had left and if I knew what I was having. Cue spiel about how girls are the be all and end all and she would have been heartbroken if she hadn't had a girl. Because every woman needs a daughter don't you know. Even when I said it didn't matter to us and that as long as he's healthy she kept on going grrrrrrrr. Came home and bawled!!

ahrgh, i would have had to try hard not to hit her!

I'm still trying to decide what will be more embarrasing to be helped on with after my c-section - huge pants or falling apart black normal ones??!! Ooh decisions, decisions! And I mean the huge ones are humongous and the falling apart ones are barely held together!!

  • Hi girls - please can someone give me a step-by-step dummies guide to getting nappy and wipes for cheap using the vouchers?

We'd like to use reusables at some point, but figure it can't hurt to start with a stash of disposables... You lot seem to be pro at getting the good deals, but I can't seem to fathom it all out (bloody baby brain).

Big thanks in advance, BM :) x

go with the BIG KNICKERS definitely! My poor OH is in for such a shock, I usually, even through pregnancy have always tried to wear nice undies, but my huge black primarni pants that are in my hospital pants really wont do much for him :rotfl:

BM im not sure about the vouchers, i just got some from the lovely redhead with £1 off johnsons wipes etc, so easy to understand, but i know people have been buying things to get other things etc, im sure someone will be along in a sec to explain all.

I hope all our boldies are ok?

I have huge knickers from Asda- a pack of 4 for £3 I think? They seemed huge when I bought them anyway! They're a couple of sizes bigger than norm. They're comfy, and quite nice looking. Go for huge knickers!

BM, I just googled Free baby clubs etc, and joined everything possible on a throwaway email....
