missymoo it will be hard but it is completley worth it without a shaddow of a doubt, this will be our last baby and whatever will be will be, i know i will be monitored alot and the first sign of anything being wrong after v day they will intervene and get baby out, from 25 weeks i will be on weekly apointments with the consultant anyway and they will be keeping a close eye on us both. the way i see it is (and this might sound a bit strange) I am so lucky i have three girls already and will now have one more, this will complete our family, yes we wanted to have a larger family but the risks are begining to outweigh the rewards. my consultant has said that if i ask for sterlilisation i will be accepted because of the health risk to myself during pregnancy, i dont see this pregnancy as any harder than the others, at least they are looking after me and baby this time. it could be worse.0

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I said 'are you my twin?' meaning we have a lot of the same symptoms :rotfl:
Well I was in and out of the docs in 5 mins. I hate going when it is dark as the carpark is really secluded and surrounded by trees and bushes. Anyway I've got eczema in my ears, which is a recurrent thing with me when I am run down.
I've been in a right fettle all day as I constantly feel like carp. When ever anyone has asked me how I am today I've said 'don't ask because I will just moan at you!'
I couldn't even be bothered to go to Boots for more starter kits despite it being the last day of the offer. On a happier note I did buy a 'My First Christmas' bib set in Mothercare tonightJust got to hope baby is here before Christmas Day otherwise it will have to keep for next year

Hello ladies! Just a quick one to say I went in for my early induction on Saturday at 38+5 (due to my gestational diabetes). The midwife did a sweep then I was waiting around all day to have my waters broken as they were really busy in the labour ward.
I started getting contractions about 9pm and they measured me at 10ish and I was 5cm dialated. So no need for the induction after all, the sweep worked fine! The labour was quick, and my little boy Harry was born at 2:20am on 16th Oct. We were able to go home the same day as they were really busy and needed the beds! He had to have his blood sugars checked 3 times because of my diabetes, but all his measurements were fine which was great! :j
So happy! My DD can't stop hugging and kissing him, I'm sure the novelty will wear off at some point but for now she's really excited by it all.
Hope all pregnancies are going wellGood luck to those who are due soon!

hmmm sorting through my newborn baby stuff that I have been given and the size difference in different makes of sleepsuits is ridiculous! Some are the same size as 0-3 in some sizes or other newborn stuff is the size of tiny baby stuff!!!!! Very confusing! Don't know which ones to take in my bag!!
ooooh congratulations money honey, glad it all went well for you ((hug))0
