Definately go for starchy things - slow release carbs should see you right rather than sugary stuff which will just keep the rollercoaster you had this morning going!
Just have to find a tape measure that fits around my ribcage now & I think I'll look on eBay too though I hate to think what size I might be

I had trouble finding a good guide online, they all said I was a 36b, which I knew was wrong. When I went to a shop, it turned out I was a 34ff. If anyone knows of an accurate measuring guide, i'd be interested, cos i've already grown out of the one I bought two weeks ago!0 -

Girls, one of my besties is having a hen do at the end of March next year - exact date TBC, but it will be an overnight thing. My bubba will be approx 3 months old (EDD 11 Dec), do you think this is too young to leave him/her? I'm hoping that OH and I might've both had the chance to get out and about by then (both together and separately) but a whole night apart???
Oh and if it's the weekend of the 18th do you think it would be silly of me to decline? Reason being is that it would be my first Mother's Day and I'd hate to be hungover and/or traipsing back from London. Plus what with being in Oz I've missed the last two year's worth of mother's days and would like to see my own mum too......0 -

DH's aren't very useful at consultants appointments are they? At my last appointment he was going to get all involved, insist they induce me yada yada yada....then sat there quiet as a mouse. Not a peep.
I'll be more relieved when he agrees to my section for the 20th or 21st of October :rotfl:! But it's a step in the right direction. My DH is very placid, doesn't like arguments or confrontations but sometimes I want him to get angry for me you know?!Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0 -

it is hard to tell how you will feel really. is it your first baby? i left DD1 as i worked nights from 10pm to 6am every night of the week from when she was 3 months old.
the other thing you could think about it your other half and baby going and staying in a b and b or something ?:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

My Tommee Tippee Essentials Starter Kit has just arrived (half price on Mothercare website) - now I've found something else to panic about - sterilising & using bottles/teat sizes, expressing/making up formula (still haven't quite decided & haven't bought a breast pump yet). I can't get the instructions to sink in because it doesn't seem 'real' yet!
When Giblet's born it will take an hour to change him/her because I have to figure out the reuseable nappies (and how to clean him/her before I even try putting the nappy on), an hour to get fed because I don't know what to do in what order and many many hours for all the washing - nappies, clothes plus hubbies & mine normal loads.
I'm sure it's all so simple to those of you who've done it all before but I'm seriously panicking now

people who were asking where the vouchers come from.
i have some out the free emmas diary packs from lloyd or argos - £1 off huggies newborns
some from the £3 huggies baby packs from Asda inside the sleeve or £2.50 in boots
i also managed to get 2 bounty packs at the midwifes last week one was the one you are ment to get in the hospital and it had a bounty book with vouchers
the others are from joining boots baby club, tesco baby club, sainsbury baby club etc:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j
