  • Aawww, she's beautiful Pigpen. Congratulations.

Watching the new Winnie the Pooh film with DD, she's mesmerized and actually, I'm enjoying it too lol.

There was a £2 huggies voucher in the DVD case too, so that'll come in useful :)

Awww PP she's so gorgeous! What have you called her?

I've been to mw - she wasn't too dippy this time lol! She thought my arguments were all valid. Basically she will speak to the head midwife before I see the consultant next week and the head midwife will probably come in with me for the appointment to act as my advocate. Which is good as although DH is going he won't argue my case!

Dry eyes can be stress, overwork, changes in medication, blood pressure changes, use of aircon etc- eyes can be the first indicators of problems, so def mention to your midwife. If you're allowed to use it, and I think you can, Optrex drops are handy, and usually about £15 in shop and a fiver online.

I only have one working eye, so I've learnt to pay attention to them!

Bravissimmo have a measuring chart, it's handy to use and measure yourself- then check out Ebay! I've just bought my new bra (A 30K!! Bit shocking.) on Ebay for 99p! :)

On the same thread anyone else having probs with dry eyes? I've only had my contacts in about 4 hours and my eyes are killing me. :(

Mine have been terrible - though optician said they would become dry as pregnancy progressed - i think my vision has changed too i can barely see with my contacts in but apparently they will adjust after the birth - weird! - boots have a good conditioning solution for contacts - i ant remember what its called but its quite good - i must go buy some more thanks for the reminder lol! Seriously though my eyes were so dry the other day my contacts were practically popping out!!

Well that is good news! Relieved?

DH's aren't very useful at consultants appointments are they? At my last appointment he was going to get all involved, insist they induce me yada yada yada....then sat there quiet as a mouse. Not a peep.

I'm not sure how much of an indication the measurements are, I've measured a couple of weeks behind, bang on for dates and about 3 weeks over at different points throughout! Still, fingers crossed!

Maybe have a bowl of pasta, see if some starchy carbs help stabilise you? Plenty of water too.
