    WW/Kira - what's the deal with RLT? What's it for/do? I could google I suppose...

It apparently helps tone the uterus to make contractions more efficient or something like that! You shouldnt take it too soon, some m/w's say not before 36 weeks, others a bit before, some a bit after! There is a thing about supplements with a link on the EDD list bit.

Bluebell, i dont drink any teas, coffee or caffeinated coke at all ever, so my palpitations arent that. Its quite disturbing a feeling. Still i'm sure its nothing.

Just rang the midwife at antental clinic to check on my GTT result as hadnt heard. All absolutely clear and good. :) YAY! So far beanie exactly average size as well. So with no GTT problem and very good BP, not bad for a high BMI mummy2be despite all their warnings and veiled tutting by consultant about probable high BP, oversize babies and the like....

  • BM - I bought our wedding cake from M&S and it went down a treat, hired a local florist who worked from home so cost cut down straight away, got guests to pay towards honeymoon, made our own invited, table plan etc but then thats because im arty and will be doing this as a business instead of going back to work.

Well. I'm staying a bit later in work, hopefully by then the rain will have went. Nasty Boss is his usual irascible self, and no-one particularly wants to be here due to that. I've mainly settled for enjoying my own company and not letting things bother me, which has the added bonus of winding nasty boss up! :)

29ish weeks here. Had a really bad night's sleep, think I must've woken the lanky teen on one of my trips to the loo too, cos at quarter to 5 they admitted they couldn't sleep either and so got up.

Been to the docs today for eczema cream which will hopefully sort out the itching that kept me awake, some other cream for the errmm, side effects of the iron tablets, and some liquid iron to try instead. Hopefully it'll be better, as I only had two of the tablets, and my stomach still isn't right yet. Thank goodness for maternity exemption!

Just munching on a choccy bar, then I might go in search of some gloves to protect my hands. I get dry skin normally, but not like this, I've got little blisters popping up all over them.
  • Good luck today Mancbird - you'll soon be having mummy cuddles :)

ooooh I have a question, now what is everyone going to wear to sleep in for BF. I usually sleep, naked but obviously I dont want to leak all over the place, I dont fancy wearing night time bras nor do I fancy wearing big old BF nighties..... Not sure what the best option is.
