Thanks for the replies, I can imagine the idea would be a bit  if you have other kids it will be our first so just us to think of!
My hubby at first thought I meant that I would lie in bed and he would be left running the house and holding the baby :rotfl::rotfl:so said NO I have the baby you numpty :rotfl:he seems fine with the idea of cooking etc and I dont mind being lazy
Bit confused about breastfeeding though as it was mentioned could take 6 weeks to establish fully :eek: mimi u must have been a natural!!0 -
Redhead - get yourself to a chiropractor for the SPD. They will look at the position of your pelvis and may be able to do some treatment on it. I've been seeing one and highly recommend it.
WW/Kira - what's the deal with RLT? What's it for/do? I could google I suppose...
WW - get well soon, there seems to be a lot of nasties going round at the mo.
Mancbird - GOOD LUCK! And what a lovely sunny day to have a baby!
Mimi - I know how you feel about moneyIt's one thing after another with us at the mo, what with the move... And OH's just found out that he will only be paid 30 days after he invoices, when it used to be 7 days!! Gah. You've got me wondering about Christmas pressies now... I should perhaps get some as I imagine we'll have other things on our minds at that point in time!
Well we had a good weekend, it's fab to have the keys to our new place, even if we don't move in officially until Friday (still cat/flat sitting for our friend at the mo). We did a mammoth Ikea trip yesterday and got a cot and a changing table (the Gulliver ones which I think a couple of you have also got). I slept really badly on Fri and Sat nights and was awake for about 3-4 hours both nights, but on the plus side it meant I slept like a baby last night! I was, however, shattered yesterday - that was the most drained I've felt so far...
Today I've got to wait for the BT man to come and sort the landline at the new place, and will clean the kitchen etc whilst I'm there. Then we can start putting furniture together when OH comes home which is exciting.
NCT classes start tomorrow night - I'm really intrigued to meet the other people there, as you hear about making lifelong friends at these things, so should be interesting. Will give you all the lowdown later in the week.
Can't remember if I told you on here, but I'm still hot and cold at the thought of our wedding next year - mainly due to price. I just want to be married, never been fussed about having a princess-day and hate being the centre of attention, and our provisional estimate on costs looks like it'll be about £15k. This seems ridic when we're looking to buy a house and I'll be on mat pay... I just want my lovely OH to be my lovely HB, don't really care about the wedding itself. If we can find a nice house to buy, I think we'll just have a garden party instead.................0 -

I felt the same every time I sat down to plan my wedding too Blue Monkey, so I convinced (threw a mini strop and told him it was way to stressful to get married) DH to elope to Las Vegas (we were living in California at the time). I booked the wedding, flowers, cake, minister, photos, video and limo all in the same package in about 20 mins. It was a huge relief and so much cheaper than the traditional wedding we were planning. We had a garden party/ BBQ the weekend afterwards for local friends. Then we had meals out with family when we were back in the UK.
Anyone else find baby decides to kick/roll like mad every time you try to eat something? I feel like I'm eating every meal while on an aeroplane with turbulence?:ANeeding to save all the money, lots of MSE learning still to do

Morning, ladies and bumps
Hope we're all well today, seem to be actually! I had a brilliant nights sleep last night for the first time in ages, so I feel nice and refreshed, just as well as I have a few friends coming to visit tomorrow for a couple of days, excited to see them
Good Luck today mancbirdxx

BM, Weddings can be a lot cheaper than 15k. Think ours would have struggled to reach 7k, and we had everything we wanted that included the honeymoon!.... It's just a case of improvising a little. We had a local cakemaker make cupcakes (couldn't decide on flavouring for a cake, so....), we did favours ourselves (Sugared almonds in wrapped bags from Ebay), haggled with the venue, had photography for free, and holidayed in Italy for just over a fortnight. I hated being the centre of attention as well, but being honest, once the ceremony was done, it wasn't too bad!
I'm sitting in work just waiting for the day to finish, it's rained since I arrived....0 -
It also feels like i've been having palpitations since middle of the night..
Anyone else had them?
I have, normally after having any caffeine. Seem to last for most of the night too when I do get them, horrible for trying to sleepEven after totally giving up tea and coffee (except de-caff tea) I still have them occasionally, and haven't figured out why yet. Although it's been better since I realised DH was dunking his teabag into my de-caff tea just to make sure it tasted right  It's odd how he gets these ideas sometimes, he was convinced I'd told him the de-caff tea tasted funny otherwise... :rotfl:
Oh, BM, our wedding cost £5k and that's with a 3 course sit-down dinner for 100 and wine, plus a drinks reception after the ceremony, and a band... so I'm sure you can get away with spending a bit less! All the extras came off ebay, made the flower displays ourselves, dress bought from China along with all the bridesmaid dresses. I've actually just re-sold my dress with only a £20 loss on the cost - not bad!0 -
Lirin tell the rain to go away, I want to go out
and it's sooo heavy!!
