I went for 3 sizes bigger, but I was leaving room for a big jumper and my ever increasing chest. :D

I had back, side of bump and under/pelvis pain last night so couldn't sleep. Slightly sicky, occasional stomach cramps and a bad taste in my mouth too... I'm blaming the damn iron tablets. Might try the one every other day tactic and see if that is any better? I had one the first night, thought, this is ok, took a second one the next morning and felt off all day!

Also just found out my one and only night out in ages has been cancelled. :( Not only that, it was my birthday pressie, but we had to use my card because verified by visa had crashed, so I have to chase the refund as I've got the card. Oh well, we can find something else to do, and can take the lanky teen along rather than leave him behind. :)

Thought I'd get a great sleep last night as I was so tired, I didn't :( Slept great from about half 6 til half 9 though. What's that all about?!?! I love one born every minute, purely for the faces of the women after they've been through the mire, and they get there baby handed to them, it's an adorable moment.

It will depend on the coat which size you need. I tried on 3 or 4 in the same size (2 up), and a couple were fairly snug already, so no room for boob or bump growth, one had a bit of room, and the one i bought had plenty of space.
This is the one i got..

Womble - I watched OBEM at Christmas on Sky+ so I could fastforward much of the rubbish!! The US one was awful I thought. The mums are strapped to the bed with an epidural and all their family, friends and neighbours all come in!! Very strange!

Lirin - DS1 was very, very active but DS2 not so much. Both were late so I don't think that a wriggly baby means it's coming earlier. My friend had a right wriggly one too and he was late. But you never know!

Sandy - I hope this is the start for you!

I was quite embarrassed down at football! Everyone was bundled up in boots, hats, coats and scarves and I wore my slip on shoes and a sleeveless top lol! I had a lightweight cardigan on but that came off. I'm just hot all the time. My little radiator ensures that. Fed up though - I miss socks, fleeces and boots!!
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!
  • morning all

have had a busy week as OH came back from sea early so its been nice having him round even if he is driving me insane. Missymoo, know how you feel about your OH being away as mine usually does 4/5 months away and then around 3 months home at a time but once your in the routine of it its ok, but ive found ive really struggled not having him here when usually im ok.

Im the same temperature wise Kandboys, still wearing birkinstocks, vest tops and light weight cardigans. am not bothering with a winter jacket as for the amount of time i will wear one its not worth it.

im having a lazy lazy day today, went to metro centre yesterday and just did a couple of shops and am dead today, cant move so on the laptop still in bed :) although should get up soon as need to eat and i hate eating in bed. hmmmm wonder if i can convince DH to take me to the pub for lunch? best try and drag my behind into the shower!

Oh i can sympathise with the heat, I went out this morning in a short sleeved dress and everyone else was in big old jumpers!

Took some stuff back to peacocks as got the wrong size but they'd been reduced soo managed to get a 'free' skirt too from the money I saved exchanging :) :T

Although then made the mistake of going into matalan, the lights in their changing foom  I should know better, I looked like a whale, not just my stomach, but god, my legs, did I have cellulite before I got pregnant!? Tree trunks spring to mind!!

Im sorry lots of others were up half the night too, its rubbish very few of us are actually sleeping. I am exhausted today, really do feel tired, but then that doesnt mean I'll sleep :(

Really really need to clean this hovel of a house, it is such a tip, but think I might do it later, or tomorrow :o

good luck sandy I hope its all happening for you now.

Oh on OBEM if you hadnt guessed I am addicted.:D Some of the births are really good and straight forward but some are the difficult cases, but then thats just real life isn't it, some easy some not? The american one, I also thought was rubbish, they really built up the birth and dramatised it, and the whole family thing in the labour room I found so strange  I cant say I want my mums best friends dog in there with me!!!

No idea what baby is doing but god it hurts, head up in ribs and stamping in my pelvis..... lovely!

I suppose I better get dressed, gotta take this car down to OH's uncle's to try and get the dent out the boot that some !!!!!! kicked. And to beg him to put up blinds. Was kinda looking forward to staying in all day, even though JJ wants to escape via my side...
