    Evening ladies.

Gilly and Missymoo - glad you got your vouchers safe :) even if someone did try to pinch Gillys.

I got yet another baby box with a voucher today, I do think they're a bargain for 50p.

Unsure of what to do with all the hats out of the starter kits though, anyone know of any charities who would take them?

Decided to buy DD the child version of our pram for xmas, i think she'll love it :)

Came home from work, OH made me and DD spag bol, and we all watched despicable me. Been a lovely night tbh. :) x

I dont know whether your hospital might want them? ask your midwife at your next appointment.

Glad you've had a lovely evenng, I love despicable me.
  • I have bought a few of the Newborn starter kits before with vouchers but can someone clear this up for me - THe vouchers inside are you using them together to get more packs or packs of nappies free? Im never quite sure how everyone is getting stuff for free with the vouchers otherwise :)

you use the when iems are on special offer, for example if somewhere has buy 1 huggies wipes get 2 free then you can use 3 vouchers and it works out free

winnie finn is so cute, congrats again
now proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j
  • Cloudberry. I use my vouchers on more starter packs. Then swap the newborn nappies inside for a bigger size pack.
The wipes vouchers I'm using at boots where the huggies pure are £1 a pack at the minute so free.

Missymoo. Same here. I love the story he writes for them at the end :o
    It's so cute.

And thats a good idea, will try the hospital when I go for the next scan x
  • Thanks Mirror and Redhead :)

I handed the hats to my midwife as they use them in the neonatal unit, saves them cutting up tubi bandages and tying a knot in them!

Sorry Gilly, that you're feeling sore....

I've given up on sleep, been trying the last couple of hours.... Seriously stiff and uncomfortable, DH will most definitely be sent to the pharmacy when he wakes.Though that's likely to be a while, judging from the steamtrain sounds beside me.
Just gave up because it's been a wrestling match to try and get up when I've needed the bathroom- and the stairs really hurt just there! I've a letter though inviting me to a physio class, rather than a meeting with a physio- it's worded weirdly, but reads that if I don't go to the class,I'll find it harder to get an appointment with the physio, I think....
  • When I sam my physio Lirin, she asked if I had been invited to a class, which I hadn't. I think they probably give you exercises to do in the hope that not everyone will need to see the physio individually.

I use my vouchers to buy more starter packs, and get more vouchers, for more wipes and starter packs. Boots offer ends on 18th Oct it says on the shelf ticket. The little hats I am taking to my hospital, I've got about 30 of them, and I've already given some away.

As soon as I get home from work and get all my shopping put away etc I go upstairs and change into my dressing gown. It is heaven to take my trousers off, I've got 3 pairs and they all annoy me by either digging in or sliding down all day, wish I's bought over the bump, not under the bump :(

I was in bed for just after 8pm last night as I was so shattered, 3am seems to be my new wake up time regardless f what time I go to bed :(
