Hey everyone:)Hope your all well.
Will have a look back at everyones news.
Had my 28week appointment with the midwife on Monday and i was measuring small for my dates. I measured 26cm and i only grow 1cm in 3weeks so was referred for a growth scan. The midwife wasn't too worried because she thinks i'm just small but she had to refer me. Had my scan on Wednesday and baby is measuring ok and i'm just small!! But if i always measure small will i keep getting referred for a growth scan?
Was nice to see baby girl again and see a heartbeating!0 -
That's why I'm looking forward to Friday's off! They're restructuring all the parking around here (ie, read shoving a barrier on wasteland and charging 3x the cost), so I only have to put up with this for another month anyway, until mat leave. When I come back off maternity, they may have a discount scheme for parking set up, I hope!
Aimless, you're lovely and neat!
Lauralou, glad your scan went well....0 -
Have just realised I haven't had my MATB1 yet and I'm 32 weeks tomorrow. Vaguely remember seeing it when I went for my 2nd 20 week scan but I didn't get anything, is this right? I've got the dentist in 2 weeks so need some kind of proof of exemption so I dont have to pay, and I also need to send something to the JobCentre for my Income Support claim. Will have my next midwife appt 2 weeks tomorrow but don't really want to wait till then and getting anyone on the phone is nearly impossible!Little lady arrived 13/12/110

Thanks, I don't feel it!Cos I'm short, it's high, and low, and wide and really round all at once.
And seems much bigger when I'm not dressed.
Lol, midwife was trying to work out where the baby was, and said all the limbs were tucked away and she could only feel what she thought was a head and a back lying crossways. Since I got back, I've had lots of poking lower down, so I guess the arms are out again now she's not looking!0 -
I just asked my GP for it when I saw her last week, she was happy enough to give me it there and then Yummy Mummy
But I do think it has to be given to you by a health professional and not posted etc, is there any chance you could just swing by and pick it up?

Have you not got the little NHS card giving you free prescriptions because of maternity exemption? The dentist ought to take that? I got mine (the MATB1) at my 22 week appointment from the midwife, I didn't need it in a hurry, but my other half did to book his paternity leave.0 -
I got the form for the maternity exemption certificate/card at my booking in appointment, sent it off and the card came through quite quickly. Then I got my MATB1 form from the midwife when I had my 24 week appointment last Thursday.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0

Nope I haven't got anything at all that I could use. I had a Tax Credits Exemption before I got preggers which I could use for dentist but can't find that at the moment!
Think I'll pop in at the docs tomorrow as it's the day when the midwives are in, and see if someone can sort me out.Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -
No-one told me about a MatEx form? Have just googled. Wonder if I need one in NI. Have dental app soon. Had just assumed I turned up with bump in place and I'd be exempted by proxy....0
