thanks, have got through to HR, am entitled to the SMP element but they need to check whether I will get the additional element the council offer if you are returning to work, she thinks it is discretionary if redundancy is involved. Should find out today. Was intending to return part time anyway so with redundancy it means I could extend my mat for a further 6 months before needing to find a job, or if we pull the belt in very tight we may mange just on husbands salary for a bit longer.

Well we will see what the report says. I told her that i have had to have time off sick as my manager has refused to amend my duties even after 2 doctors notes for amended duties. I have had 4 weeks off that i wouldn't have needed had she made adjustments.

now i need to do uni work today but i feel so tired

when you due back at work Jenjade? I had occ health when I was signed off for blood pressure probs and to be fair as long as you have been signed off by a dr then I don't think there is much they can say. At least all the dr's recommendations should be on record and you should be able to get somthing sorted so you are not on your feet all day. If they cannot abide by the recommndations for whatever reason then I think Occ Health can sign you off instead.

Are your legs better from the rest?
