Thanks all, am still here! Got an hours sleep on the sofa at 6am, but woken by contraction. Not getting anywhere near what the hospital want before I go in, so it's going to be a long day - I'm tired & grumpy already!

Hi, this is my first post on this board. :)
I'm 25 weeks pregnant with my first baby (due on 16th Jan 2012) and going to my first NCT sale tomorrow. I'm hoping to find some bargains such as a baby carrier like a babybjorn, baby bouncer and a playmat. Have any of you been to NCT sales and what bargains did you pick up?

Welcome! yes, I picked up a baby bjorn carrier and a rear view mirror for the baby seat at the nct sale I went to - think I paid £30 for both (carrier was £25 IIRC). There is some great stuff if you need a lot, but we'd done most of our buying from friends already.

Welcome! Would you like to go on the list? I've never been to a NCT sale but have always wanted to. Hard to with a husband who works most Saturdays, a son who has football every Saturday and a 3 year old who would just run off :rotfl:!
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!

    Hi Eeebee :)

I've never been to an NCT sale, but Car boot sales, ebay, and Netmums nearly new boards are all quite good places to get baby things from :)

Mimi I'm sorry to hear things didn't work out between you guys. It's been so long since I could read back I think I've missed a lot :o

OH is quite keen to come to appointments etc too, not MW ones he knows nothing happens at those, but scans etc or important appointments he's there. He's also pretty good with my health in general, he's always nagging me to ring the doctors even though I'm fine lol

Ddebbski well done, hope you're both OK now :)

There have been loads of girls this month and only three boys, funny, last year I'm sure there were more boys.
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession :o:o

K, I'm the opposite- I'd have chosen Halloween! (Easier to remember....)

    Skint_Catt- good luck!

Ddebski- Congratulations, Elizabeth Rose is a lovely name. Glad you're home now.

Durham- Congrats on DD.... It'll happen soon.

Bella and Winnie- hope things are going well.

SPD people- was doing so well this morning, felt fantastic.... Until I sat at my desk in work. Sorry if I make anyone wince- heard a lovely gunshot crack sound from my pelvis. :( Now it's so painful to put weight on my left leg, and I don't want to move unless I have to..... Even sitting isn't nice.. Have taken paracetamol (considering switching to Smarties, at least they're cool colours, taste nice, and chocolate's more useful than paracetamol anyway.)
