Hey just dropping in, had a bad day. My right leg keeps seizing up and its extremely painful and bloody annoying!

Had my GTT today and a growth scan. Flumps dropped in her growth, she was on the top line of the growth chart but is now on the middle. They said not to worry and they will see what midwife measures me at when I next go. My DD was 6lb 5 and a half so hopefully her sister is just like her and naturally tiny.

I went to hospital alone, the ex (im never gonna get used to that word) couldn't get time off. In the waiting room there was lots if couples but one stood out in particular, I watched them for a bit, all excited and in love, and realised that's what we was like a year ago. He said he wants to come to mine tomorrow, says he still loves me etc. Usual way to deal with a break up - vodka, dancing, friends and crying. Neah - 3/4 lol

Mimi.. I did all my appointments alone with all of mine.. then when I had these last 2 with OH and he WANTED to come to scans and appointments it was a huge shock to my system.. I am so used to doing everything on my own letting him invade was very hard. I was always really jealous of the ones with interested partners.. I guess it is difficult to judge by what you see in the waiting room.. but my OH was there too.. but at home he doesnt do anything without a foot and a rocket and a broom up his behind!

Anyone else awake? Contracting every 10 mins so never going to fall asleep but DH beside me snoring isn't helping!

skint_catt, that was me a few weeks ago, hubby soundly asleep with me sat at puter contracting. he wasn't popular when he complained of lack of sleep!:eek:

Lol, I hope mine's not daft enough to claim the same! He can fall asleep at the drop of a hat whereas it takes me forever anyway!

I still can't quite get my head around the fact that at the end of this I will have another human to care for :eek: It just feels like I'm up being ill with cramps I really didn't think this through before conception! :rotfl:

lol, glad I'm not alone. Just had a bath - wish I hadn't put that off so long - it was lush!
Waiting to time contractions again then may phone the hospital - hubby's up & dressed & itching to go!

tis very lonely in the middle of the night. how far apart are you're contractions now?

glad the bath was good, i too thoroughly enjoyed having a bath i labour.:D

Very irregular! They were every 5 mins lasting a min before I got into the bath, now some are very short & others are a min long but 10 mins apart - but all are much more intense!
Guess we better hold out until they're a bit more regular - could be here a while!

Hi SC, sending you best wishes!! I was pacing around at home while DH tried to sleep. I was jealous as I was soooo tired - worse now ha ha!!

I'd stay home as long as poss. I'm sure I read/heard that baths can slow contractions down - perhaps it's the bath that altered things?

Debs congrats!! I'd been lurking waiting for an announcement from you. Sorry it was a scary start but pleased to hear you're both home safely now. Come to the parents thread - you too little angel.

My gorgeous boy is 7 weeks ( and 1hr21mins!). Time has flown by.
