Hi all, well due date tomorrow but looks like I won't be doing anything except eating DH's BBQ! Tried everything I can think of to get Giblet moving but it's just not happening - bump hasn't even dropped yet.

Oh and if one more person texts me to ask if 'anything is happening' then I'm going to bloody scream

DH has gone off to see his Dad tonight so won't be back until the morning (though he's only 40mins away) & I really fancy chip shop chips but not sure I can be bothered to go out later to get them

*sigh* Fed up now! (never thought I'd say that!)

My aim for this weekend is to pick a cotbed and moses basket and get it ordered! I want a cotbed with underbed storage. I like this one from m&p but appartently you cant use the underbed storage when its in bed mode? What use is that?

I also need to get some warm maternity tops as im pretty sure it will be getting cold here soon. Cant decide whether to splash out on a coat or to griz it until bubs is here. Dont fancy spending on a coat though will probably regret it!

oh thats a lovely cot the only thing i would say as that the draws with an open top collect so much dust i decided on a cot with no underbed storage and bought some storage boxes from asda to do under the bed. Just a though

Know how you feel but im really feeling quite small for 26 weeks although im measuring up fine but sometimes I look down and just think where is the baby !! Bring on the snow . . . . :cool:

Hey All!

Better late than never - just to let you all know Lola Olivia was born on 25.09.11 at 2.06AM at a tiny 6.15lb by epidural and forceps in the end.

Had a very traumatic birth and lost a lot of blood so have been in hospital for a few days and only just pulling myself back to human form! Will post birth story soon.

Being a mummy is fabulous xxxxx

My eating habits are definately getting worse. After only icecream for dinner 4 times in the past week, todays lunch was branston pickle flavoured mini cheddars eaten with a tub of fresh mango chunks. My work colleagues were a bit horrified at the combo, but it worked for me!

Jen, glad you have made progress with youe evil boss lady!

Kand Boys, really hope you get more sense out of the consultant than you did the registrar!

ahhh congrats elmo, love the name, it was what i was going ot have if i was having a girl just the lola bit though. cause my nans named lola and i love it (the name oh and my nan lol) i know what i mean

Congratulations Elmo we were hoping that you'd had baby as you hadn't been on! Lola is a lovely name too

I have 8 days until my due date and have had a visit from one of my neighbours to see if I'd had the baby yet...hope this isn't a sign of things to come! I think I could cope with phone calls etc after my due date but before?!?!? Aaaaarrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhh!!!
