It terrified me. I'd been ordering from them quite regularly, always the same dish, always egg free, then all of a sudden *BOOM* sneaky lurking egg!
I always cook my own now. Cheaper, tastier, and I know what' in it! :P

In other news, am having mild BH. Can't sleep because it's so hot, but I won't open the windows due to spiders, and there's a wasps nest outside the house. :(

Just wondering, does anyone else's little tummy lurker punch them down below when they go to the loo?
Every time I sit down for a wee, I get a punch. It's horrible, because it feels very much like waters breaking, especially mid-piddle!
    It's driving me mad!

aaaaarrrrrggghhhh is anyone else awake? This not sleeping is doing my head in! I wake up at the same time every night and just lay awake for ages with baby kicking around all over the place. Keep taking myself off to the spare room, so am missing cuddles with OH :(

My mam has just rung me to tell me that two of my aunties have been round with lots of hand knitted clothes for baby :) Apparently there are three little outfits, each with a cardigan, hat, mittens and pram blanket and a beautiful baby shawl too :) can't wait to see them, I love hand knitted clothes and think tiny babies look gorgeous in them :)

Ahh lovely, my stepmum and MIL are keen knitters, so I expect we'll get lots of bits from them. My mum is attempting to knit a bunny too which will be lovely years down the line.... And not that we're remotely Chinese, but its the year of the rabbit this year too! My best friend who's just had #2 said that one of her regrets is that she tried to get #1 in "outfits" from really early on when actually she wishes she'd kept her in baby clothes as they aren't small for long and soon have to wear proper clothes anyway....

I *really* should do something about my leg hair... It's getting a bit  Although, having said that, has anyone noticed their hair growth slowing down? I shaved under my arms a few days ago and it's not grown back at all, whereas normally I have to go over them every couple of days. But there's no stubble at all. But then my fingernails, which normally grow really slowly, are having to get trimmed and filed every week as I can't keep on top of them! Go figure!

I've almost given up much to OH's amusement (and disgust I think). I'm too much of a wuss for waxing, so will get a fresh razor and some hair removal cream this weekend and get to it... That's the problem with staying with parents who work from home - it's difficult to set some time aside to de-fuzz without hogging the bathroom - plus I can't actually see my pubes anymore so need OH to do my bikini line for me!

Annabella apparently that means you're having a girl, my hair is growing at an amusing rate, I could do under my arms twice a day probably, luckily I can manage that :D
Hair growth means a girl? Or slowing down of hair growth means a girl?

Thanks Annabella and Gilly, will definitely check Mothercare out!

Waxing- I have a very understanding DH. He's willing to wax the back of my legs/ bikini line, which is the bit I can't reach! The rest I can still reach somehow. Painting my toenails- I've given up, but DH has offered....
Hair growth hasn't slowed, unfortunately! Wish it would!
  • Morning all!

Blue - I *think* slowed down hair growth means a girl....

Well my contractions stopped at about 1am this morning and I've woken up this morning feeling fresh as a daisy! Great in one respect because I was tired and really needed the sleep but boooo in another sense because I want my baby! Ah well, will be induced next week if he doesn't come by himself.

Hubby got up at 6am this morning to put a second coat of paint on the living room, bless him! Carpet *should* be going down this evening, then the furniture can go back in and then I've got my livng room back!! I cannot wait!

Off to the hospital this morning with DS so will catch up with you all later on! xx

Blue Monkey Winnie is right, someone posted a link a few weeks ago about how if your hair growth slows down, it's a sign of a girl! :)

Winnie YES!! I don't know what's making me worse this morning, the thought of finding out, or hoping everything is okay. Oh well not long to go now :(

What time is your appointment? I remember making DH take me to the hospital an hour and a half before our appointment because I was in such a state! Go grab a cuppa and something yummy for breakfast and try to relax - good luck! :)
