Hows it going Redhead? Any progression? The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Not really. Went in last night and im 3cm dilated, was having 4 contractions in 10 minutes (strong enough to hurt and be picked up on machine but not strong enough to move things along).
So came back this morning and just playing a waiting game now. Hospital want me back when pain gets unbearable and/or when waters break. Still got pains but they're coming and going so managing with paracetamol at the minute.
Also been encouraged to get on the ball tonight as my little monkey is laid back to back, so need to get him moved round x0 -
Wow this thread moves fast!! Congratulations to all the ladies enjoying their cuddles.
Well all todays good intentions have gone down the pan after a friend came to visit and I ended up sat gossiping for the last 4 hours!! Oh well tommorrows another dayIt's probably a blessing in disguise...bit sore after wandering round the shops too much yesterday.
Better think about moving towards the kitchen for some tea I suppose (why is it that even though the fridge is full theres nothing I really fancy?!:rotfl:) then I can think about what music to put on mp3 player for the hospital.0 -
I think laying over the ball is more efficient for moving babies around, I wish Kira was here she would know, she knew loads of stuff!
Well fingers crossed it doesn't take much longer for you. 3cm is a decent amount thoughThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
also meant to say
these starter kits have coupons on the inside of cardboard sleeve

And at work it wont let you print if this means you have to download something to allow it to do this (which you do in the asda case.. soem sort of Print Manager). Do they offer it as a PDF or anything does anyone know?0 -

My midwife told me to crawl up the stairs to get the littl'un to move, so laying over the ball should do the trick....let gravity do all the work(Plus it also means your OH doesn't get to giggle at you...or it might just be mine that would do that!!!):rotfl:

Tesco are doing buy one get 2 free on the wipes at the moment so you'd get 3 packs of wipes for about £1.48 I think if you used the coupon. Either that or wait for Boots having them at £1The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

It is, I was surprised when she said it. Forgot how uncomfortable internal exams are though. Ouch. X0

Evening ladies!
Congrats to Aimless, Kate and Kira.
I got the maternity tights and bras that I ordered from debenhams sale yesterday. 2 of the bras are going back but I got a hotmilk one is fab and its also a nursing bra so aslong as I don't expand too much I'll be able to use it from now onwards. I've ordered another one from the figleaves outlet on ebay now I know that my guessed size fits ok! I know I should really get measured but I usually get my fittings done in bravissimo and one of the girls there once gave me a bit of a lesson in what they look for so i'm happy enough doing it myself.
Today DH and I have been shopping for a curtain pole and rug for the baby's room. i didn't think I'd be able to find a rug I liked but the first shop we went into (B&Q) had a lovely one. DH is going to go back on Wed with his dad and get it as his dad can get 10% off on the pensioner's afternoon! I've also ordered this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fisher-Price-K4562-Rainforest-Gym/dp/B000FFL58Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326563228&sr=8-1
It was even cheaper last weekend but DH wanted me to wait till we'd had the MRI scan. It's £55-£58 most other places so £44 is still a good price!
I can't believe how tired I am after our trip round the shops, all we did was drive from one place to another, quick look around then back in the car! Oooh and DH treat me to a KFC for lunch. I'm doing our xmas dinner tonight as we didn't have it together on xmas day but I'm not hungry yet.
I really need DH to get our printer down from the loft so I can join some clubs and print out vouchers. We have to keep it in the loft as we rarely use it and we don't really have anywhere else to keep it but its a pain when I want to use it.0 -
Asda do tights for 0-3
I used to get my girls tights in there. DD1 was in outfits everyday from day 1! Had sleepsuits at night, but outfits (including dresses and tights!) every morning! If u dont like the idea of tights, how about plain leggings? If the baby is quite chunky, they r easy enough to get on and off, u dont need to take them right off every time, u`ll soon get used to pulling them just to the knees for a nappy change.
I always put on loads of weight when preg, my mum did with me, tons of fluid retention and tons of chocolate really doesnt help haha! I actually weighed less after DD2 than i had before i`d had kids!
Ooh thanks for that Myrtleturtlex
