Hi Everyone

I thought I would pop in and say hello, I have been lurking around for a while, but am only now getting round to posting!!

I am expecting my third child (currently team yellow!!) 23rd April (or 16th if I have to have a c-section) Could somebody add me to the list please?

I have just weighed myself for the first time since about 12 weeks .....hmm..... i`ve put on 2 stone ! Still 6 weeks to go, i usually put on over 3 st, so hoping i wont gain more than 1stone in 6 weeks???

I'd doubt it Emmylou. A stone in 6 weeks would be hard to do.

Re the weight, is it normal to have only put on about 4ish pounds? I'm 27+2 and would have thought I'd be much heavier? I dunno!

4nnabella midwife's shouldn't use a battery monitor during pregnancy as they're not calibrated for the extra capacity. A manual reading is always most accurate. Only around 1 in 20 battery monitors are suitable for use during pregnancy, if you have a home one you can check the manual or ask the blood pressure association if yours is. If the manual readings are good, don't worry.

Thanks Dinah, I had read/heard elsewhere that the monitors you can buy for home use aren't any good when pregnant, I just assumed that the ones the midwives use are calibrated properly. Guess not!

I'm 36+5 Goppers and I've put on about 10lbs. So I don't think it's not natural to not have put a lot of weight on, I think it just varies from person to person. Unless your midwife is worried, no need for you to worry.

Well that is the last of the hospital bag packed, put the new memory card in the camera, just got last minute bits and bots to put in like chargers etc, but they will have to wait until we're ready to go. All the clothes we have are washed/sorted/put away. About to wash the bottles from the steriliser set through with soapy water like it tells you to, and have a go with the steriliser to see how it works. Not intending to be using it right away but want to be prepared just incase.

Feels so weird now to be completely organised, it's like the moment I've been waiting on for 8 and a half months

Just bought the LO the most adorable John Rocha dress:) Thing is,she has quite a few dresses now so obv needs tights to go with them and i'm struggling to find newborn or 0/3 month sizes. The smallest i've seen are 3/6 months. Anyone recommend anywhere? Thanks x

Going to be honest here Lucy, I can't imagine ever wanting to put tights on a tiny baby and most people I know are the same, for the first 3/4 months they're in vests and babygrows 24/7
