  • Congratulations Kate and Kira :)

We got a microwave steriliser from the Asda baby event yesterday, should be useful at some point and it was nicely reduced :) If anyone still has Dettol Surface Cleanser £1 off vouchers (which i seem to remember were in the Bounty pack) Asda are also selling that reduced to £1, so we got ours for free!

These wipes that a few of you were talking about a couple of pages back, can you take them in your hospital bag instead of cotton wool for baby?

What microwave steriliser was it? I had only seen the electric tommee tippee one on the Asda website..
  • Congrats Kira and Kate!

It was the Avent one, reduced to £10. Comes with a bottle included, which as we've already got two other bottles of theirs it looked like the most useful one to get :) Asda also have the Avent bottles reduced, not decided yet whether to get a couple more or not, as the steriliser will hold 6.

Yes I'm taking them instead. Heard they are better and just as gentle and they dont break up like cotton wool apparently:)

Congrats to Kira, Kate and Aimless!

Re pineapple - I think you have to eat about 10 to get enough of the stuff to give you contractions, so I wouldn't specifically avoid them, the fuller term ladies want to try anything and everything to get the baby moving ;) (note to self, buy fresh pineapple)

DH was lucky to live through the night as he really wound me up before bed, (I really wanted to fit his head for a pillow) as he whinged it was late and he didn't want to do my massage, I'm still not happy with him, but he is of into town now to try and get me a Starbucks, 3rd time lucky?
