Wouldn't worry Lucy, I've been told I'm massive, tiny, just about average. My bump is high/low, dropped/not dropped. I've came to the conclusion people don't have a clue what they're talking about! The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Nothing to worry about thenyou're cooking fine. I think people just expect pregnant people to be massive and when you're not they make it a big deal.
My friend was really small with her baby, and was taken in for observation etc, he ended up being 6 and a half pounds, which is small for a boy at full term but not tiny. I think it made her feel like crap and like she was deliberately not doing things to help her baby grow when people continually commented. The frontier is never somewhere else. Hi everyone. Just spent ages trying to put together our cot bed and we are so disappointed with it. Bits were bashed before we tried to put it together, the instructions aren't worth the paper they are written on, the built in draw won't push in and the fittings are cheap and get mashed up when you tighten them. I know there were others on here thinking of buying tutti bambini products - please please dont. We are totally gutted :0(0

Complain Laura, I would. The fact that bits were bashed before you even put it together isn't acceptable in my opinion and they should be at least offering to send another one. If it is faulty, you should get your money back I would have thought! The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

We are worried they would just say it was our fault or that we shouldn't have put it together plus oh mum bought it for us and she would be just as gutted to know how bad it is. I think if w cut off the two metal bits that are on the runners stoping the draw closing it should be ok, not really sure why they are poking out, maybe a manufacturing fault? One of the screw heads has rounded off so I'm not even sure how we would get out apart and it was only me that did it up! Some people have given it good reviews, maybe we just got a dodgey one0

Well I'd say it's better to try than just accept it. It wasn't cheap, so I'd at least phone them to see what they say. Did you purchase it from Boots?
My friend works for John Lewis customer service and has sent out new furniture products to customers, even after they've put up furniture but it's been damaged, including beds. ( I know there customer service is second to none though ) but I'd still give them a phone and say you're not happy with it, play the pregnant woman card, how upset and distraught you are, and how you thought you were buying the best for your baby.
I done it with Mamas & Papas and got £60 credit and £85 hoods for the pram free
Edit: if the screws etc are dodgy I'd also point out at some point you want to convert it to a bed, so how are you supposed to do that if the screws are the way they are.The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Good evening ladies. On the size issue with DD I was always told how huge I was and from about 6 months if I went out for a meal I was given helpful tips on how to bring on labour, ie spicy food! I always measured bang on though so put it down to me being a tad under 5 feet tall! I looked like a weeble, but loved my bump and missed it so much, although v v glad DD was here!
Now 10 weeks with No2 and already feel like I'm showing, on top of major bloating whenever I eat. I also can't stop eating now already, didn't have this with DD at all, had to have 2 lunches today as felt like I hadn't eaten. Then went to bed for 2.5 hours. Just had a big mac, chicken nuggets and a mcflurry for tea and finally feel full!
Feel rubbish and tired, also very pale so debating on phoning the drs about iron levels. Does anyone know if they test for iron levels in 1st MW appt bloods?
Congrats to the ladies enjoying their cuddles, and I hope everyone else is feeling well
