I've just this minute got up to make dinner  stuck some potatoes on the hob and will just use some of the chicken casserole I prepared earlier as I cannot be bothered doing anything else. Been sleeping all afternoon again, I think my body can sense my baby will sleep then and I'm automatically tired in the afternoon, sleep when he sleeps and all that.

I will eat the something sugary after dinner, he was moving this morning, and he has been moving, just so gently, no kicks at all. I sometimes think the more I focus the worse it is sort of thing :o

So now in the freezer I have Bolognese Meatballs, Lasagne, Chicken Casserole, Beef Pies, Chilli, Cottage Pie, and some home made burgers. Will maybe make curry next week, see how I feel, but I think I'm all batch cooked out.

Just watched maternity ward not doing that again in my condition it wasn't the births as such but the poor babies tug at the heart strings as some were poorly doesnt take much to tip
me over. Hubby sort of watched (between his fingers) 6 c sections so hoping it toughened him up!!
Yak to the fresh Pinapple! Feeling queasy. Had some bh but more painful during the day and it seems bubs did not like them either as he was moving and making it worse !

Gilly I have a bath if baby having a quiet day and want reassuring as soon gets moving then.

Tried bouncy ball and housework today but no signs of baby moving further down. Was hoping it might as midwife said I could phone for a sweep tomorrow if I felt the baby had got lower all she wasn't expecting it to.

You're making me feel bad Gilly, I haven't done any batch cooking yet! Don't even know where to start! Think I might defrost some mince overnight then at least make bolognese tomorrow... Oh and I'll defrost some chicken too and make chicken casserole. Then we can have half for dinner and I'll freeze the other half. My problem is that I *can* cook, I'm just not very creative, so am not very confident.

I'm a confident cook, just not a good one :rotfl: well I can do enough to get me by, like I don't rely on ready meals, but because I do a lot of stuff from scratch I get so many nights where I'm just like "can't be bothered" and I end up with a take away. Couple that with my OH who eats nothing but crap, if it doesn't have Captain Birdseye on the front he won't eat it  even though I know I cook healthy hearty meals. So a lot of the time I'm just thinking it's only for me so why bother so eat take away or toast for dinner :o

I know I need to sort myself out a bit more though, if I want to breast feed and just for my health really. So at least if I can get batch cooking done, it means I don't have an excuse :o

I haven't done any batch cooking, feeling I should have after reading your posts. I did last time but just not got round to it this time. Going to m+s tomorrow for a couple of the meal deals for the weekend and feel inspired to get veg for chicken casserole to freeze.

hmm, with 3 other kids i really should batch cook.....however i figure as long as there r chips/waffles/smilies in the freezer, noodles in the cupboard and nuggets/pies/fishfingers/pizzas in the freezer, ohh and a tons of baked beans, we`ll be ok for a few days haha! I have been good tho and making sure that when i buy fresh milk, that goes in the freezer and the frozen stuff gets defrosted so theres always at least 20 pints in there! Same with bread, always at least 3 loaves frozen lol! Making sausage and bean casserole 2moro for the 1st time, so if they like it and theres some left i`ll be good and freeze that i suppose lol! xx

I'm a terrible cook!! Never had the patience, or know how. Its going to have to be ready meals for me, until my mum comes over from South Africa for the month she's with us and cooks for us haha
