I saw the midwife at 40+4 and they booked me a sweep for the following week so I had that at 41+1. Still getting show but nothing else from that, and have another tomorrow unless baby turns up tonight. I think I'll have to book induction tomorrow as well, but I'm hoping to leave that until next wednesday or so to give a bit more time for things to kick off naturally, if they'll let me.

Sweep is offered at 40 weeks here, and then induction at 40+10.

From what I gather and have been told.

Around here its induction at 12 days, but they will allow u a few days in which to labour, so arent bothered really until 16 days over!!!!!
Told DH about Kira being told 3-4 days b4 baby could be here, he just gave me a "dont even think about it" look haha! As if u can make the baby come any quicker! Altho, having already had 3 natural births, i think i`d rather they just gave me a c-section if i wasnt favourable for induction x

My DH was pretty horrified at that timescale as well!

Surely though, after 3, it's not that likely you'll go over and need induction?! I keep being told that even a second is likely to be early. Shame I'm on my first really:)

Well, here, I baked the bread rolls (the pre-baked ones from supermarket), lasagne is in the oven, and OH is not back yet! He is probably delayed a work, but I would have liked him to call and let me know he is going to late.

I am starting my iron tonight, will see what reaction I'll get.

Hmm......DD1 was 4 days late.....DD2 was 10 days late :eek::rotfl:
and DD3 was 3 days (possibly 10 days late according to 1 of he scans!) So i`m really not expecting this lil man to come even on time, never mind early! Also, loads of people tell me that 4th labours are the worst, altho i`m not quite sure why :cool:


Wow Mozzy, DH just looked at that bump of urs and said it the same size as I am now hahaha! Altho i`m much bigger all round this time I have 4 more weeks to get to where u r too Mozzy! And i agree with Gilly u r all baby! xx

Ah thanks ladies! I am loving my bump I must say. Every time I go past a mirror I have to lift up the shirt and have a look. It just feels huge. Emmylou, post a pic! lets have a look!

He's definitely all on my bladder though, I keep feeling I need a wee, and nothing comes out. So many wasted trips up the stairs haha
