Re the dressing gown discussion I have put the huge one in a separate bag for the car. But the checked nightshirts are a good cover up for the nursing nighties as they are long enough as substitute for a proper gown.

Ok, bought the cot bed http://www.boots.com/en/Tutti-Bambini-Lucas-Dropside-Sleigh-Cot-Bed-oak-finish_1109454/ It should go with the oak sideboard already in the nursery. It was the only one I could find that had a drop side, which I think will be much more practical than fixed sides.

I bought this cot bed in white and it was delivered on Monday (with the tutti bambini sprung mattress). Was easy to put together (not that i built it :) )and i absolutely, totally love it! Just need the bean to put in now, only 7.5 weeks more to go :)

Oh no. OH is home from his exam and it did not go well I don't think, I've never seen him so dejected in all the time I've known him, he keeps saying how he's let me and the baby down and how he's ruined the rest of our lives, I've tried to talk him round, and say how proud we both are of him, but it's not getting through :( I don't know what else to do, I've let him go for a sleep and I think I can hear him crying. :(

Oh no, I hate it when the OH cries! The only thing you can do is reassure him that things often look worse than they are and that even if it did go as badly as he thinks, surely he can try again (not good timing with baby but possible???)

What sort of exam was it? Big hugs x x

Just been to sainsbo's for the 1/3 off baby event and stocked up on cotton wool. Also bought some infacol. Tins of quality street £3!! I was a good girl and bought a pineapple instead :)
Stopped off at Argos to buy a carbon monoxide alarm as my plumber said they are needed from March this year, can't find any info on the interenet about it, but thought I'd get one to be on the safe side.

He really can't it's the last chance saloon for him. He's had health problems on and off for a long time and he's had such a stop/start time at university because of it. They have been very accommodating with him but these are exams are a one chance thing. It's his final year :( With me moving, him thinking I'd be able to get a job, finding out I was pregnant which was a big shock for us, I couldn't find work fast enough, he's had to continue working pretty much full time as well as uni (it's a bricks and mortar uni, and quite a good uni at that) so he's in a lot. He's doing all that just to keep a roof over our head really.

I'm really trying, to reassure him, but he had a bad second year because of his health, and he was just managing to pull it back to be on track for a good grade, he will get his degree but in his field he really needs to be on a 2:1 or higher. Poor him :( I wish I could just take it all away and make him feel better but there is nothing I can do I don't think.
