Delain, so glad to hear from you, had a feeling your laptop was on the bung though I remember you mentioning it a while ago. Congratulations :happyhear I know an Isla and she's such an adorable wee thing, so I'm sure your wee one will be the same!

Congratulations Delain, and that is a lovely name for her.

Curry last night had no effect whatsoever on baby, although it was lovely! 40+5 now and not enjoying it, everything aches from boobs downwards:(

I was thinking of going to Tesco with DH later so at least I'd get a bit of a waddle today rather than just sitting on the sofa, but Kira has put me off that idea! Do want to do housework but that might be more like directing DH to do the cleaning I think is necessary and making sure he doesn't just do boy cleaning!

Oooops. Sorry.. Don't let me put you off if you really wanna do it! It might just be me being old, decrepit and unfit! That said, Tesco's at this time of day....:eek::eek::eek: I only got away with Sainsbo's , cos i went before 10am and all our local chavs are still asleep at that time.:D

Well, woke up this morning with backache that seemed to come and go, ooh, I thought, but no, it's just settled into a permanent backache meaning I can't lie down comfortably. Oh well, fancied today as a birthday.

I got a good morning text from the other half, so I sent one back to say it might be possible something was happening, 5 hours later he hasn't even bothered to reply. I'm starting to wonder if it is even worth calling when things happen, he seems to be fairly useless.

Well drumroll please, I've finally started a Sainsburys Food order, only taken me about 2 weeks :o this is the big one for batch cooking, so any suggestions ladies? I've got mince already for bolognese, lasagne and chilli. Chicken for curry and casseroles and beef for pies :D anything else you can think of?

OH has came home from work, poor soul had to work the early shift (sarcasm...) and has toddled off to bed for a "nap because he's tired" so I'm going to dry my hair and pop over to Starbucks for a while to read my book and relax with a wee cake and coffee.

Thanks Kira, I might still do it, but you weren't making the shops sound fun and I'm also old, decrepit and unfit!! We don't need a lot of stuff (although each time I say that I come back with a ton of things I didn't think of).

Sorry Aimless, that is pretty rubbish of him. Also really annoying that it seems to be just back pain rather than baby. Labour vibes needed all round I think!

I'm feeling guilty watching DH do the cleaning but haven't got off my backside. Does that make me a bad person?!

I feel guilty that I'm still pretty much as mobile as I was before pregnancy, although it just takes me a good bit longer. I was probably really unfit before pregnancy though so not sure if that's much to boast about :rotfl:
