Morning all. A lovely sunny morning so far, so plenty of washing on the line.
Evie - how about asking on Freecycle for a fridge/freezer? It's always worth a go.
Well, I've got bread dough rising and I'm just about to make the 'Saturday' cake - it's just a Victoria sponge, but it's become a regular item on the baking list; even if it ends up getting made on another day of the week, it's still called a Saturday cake!
DH is out buying materials for a job he starts on Monday. It takes so long buying anything here that he decided to get ahead of himself so at least, when he starts on Monday, he'll have everything he needs. Well, that's the intention but he's already come back because he forgot his list. He never ever leaves the house in one go!
Well, I hope you are all having a good Saturday!

Morning my lovelies
Busy day for me today, I've got to pick up a friend's daughter at 12, we are making her dad a birthday cake, as it's his birthday today. Her mum died earlier in the year, and she wanted to do something special for her dad, so we are making him a chocolate cake
Before i get her i need to sort the house as it's a TIP! then get dressed.
We'll take her dog for a walk afterwards too as she's not allowed to take her out on her own as she's pretty strong and unpredictable around other dogs.
Then once i've done that I've got a garden party tonight! Hopefully OH is going to join me, I won't be drinking much, as had a pretty heavy night last night!
I went out to our friends house, he's just moved in with his girlfriend. She has 2 dogs that are skin and bones, I'm not sure what to do about it, but they are skeletal and it makes me pretty sad to see itAnnual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Morning All
Got on the scales this morning ( have been avoiding them) and I have lost a stone :j Must be all the decluttering
DH is out helping an old lady up the road with her fence (It blew down in the high winds) and when he gets home I have lots of stuff, that I sorted yesterday that can go down to the hospice shop.
I have started on the second room and have nearly finished so maybe there will be more stuff to take up as well.
He is moaning that his shed is now chocca, which is worrying because it is a huge one, so he will declutter and sort that tomorrow.
Doctor Who tonight and I think that the thing in the Doctor's room is going to be the Doctor (It will make sense to my fellow whovians)
Egg, bacon, sausage and mushrooms for dinner tonight.
Have good days all xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Bramble report it to RSPCA if you have any concerns. What type of dogs are they? Could you see their living conditions at all?I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Butterfly - well done on the weight loss!! I need to get my bum in gear, I managed to a stone easily at the start of the year. but not the weight is stubborn and won't go!! (I assume ale and pizza probably aren't helping the situation
)
Bitsy - I haven't got much faith in the RSPCA - plus she does love them, I think she can't afford them. Their living conditions are good - they are well looked after in terms of love, but she showed me photos of them before they were plump and healthy, now they are bones. they are shar peis (sp?) so should have a little weight to them. My dog is lean especially for a labrador but he's a healthy lean, he's got good muscle tone and just no excess fat to him. They're not like that at all.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Been really busy this morning, the whole family have pitched in and we have done 2/3rds of the housework we had planned so far! My house is looking really great, and DS is working so hard (his reward is Drum Club this term, it's african drumming!).
I have even managed to marinade Sunday Dinner (I am making honey and mustard Gammon... well bacon joint!)!
The dough for rolls in the BM are amazing and they are so huge (Calculated costs, inc. electricity... 6p a Roll but still have to oven cook... I hope they taste as good as they look) we are having them with the soup I've put on. My family are pleased with how much i've been able to do
Hope everyone is having a good day xWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240
