Good morning
I've just watched the weather forecast and we are due an icy blast by the weekend  I think the stove will be lit, although DH will insist that it's not cold enough!
Another busy working from home day today, the kids want dropping off at the local shopping area and a mcds for lunch so I'll expect the dog to be walked in return! He is currently snuggled up with DD in her bedroom, no doubt taking up most of the room whilst she is clinging onto the side of the bed. They absolutely adore each other though, I don't know who the daftest of them is.
Better go and get sorted for the day and start some work xx0 -
it defo is starting to get colder i so want to put the heating on but instead i've chucked on a housecoat seeing as its just me as gran has kipnapped my kids for the day lol xx enjoying the peace and quiet to be fair xx

Good morning
Hi Abba, I'm very well thank you, hope you are as well.
Well where did the summer go? The kids are back to school, everything is starting to look autumnal and I've started thinking about Christmas shopping this morning! I do need to organise myself better this year as I'm not sure how busy work will be in the run up to it.
We had a lovely holiday, it was nice to get away for a week and not cook, iron or run the kids round.
Back to the grindstone now though, work is horrendously busy but in a good way. I don't get stressed and worked up anymore about it and the new bosses are lovely, always busy but always make time to say hello and chat. I found it quite strange at first that the bosses chatted to me after my last one who barely raised his head when I arrived at work, however DH rightly pointed out that he wasn't normal!!
List for today
Blitz lounge
Blitz conservatory
Wash school clothes
Hope everyone has a lovely day xx0 -
Hi Choo, glad your well and have had a good holiday.
Take care.x.0 -
Good morning
So much for posting more regularly!
Work is still busy but all going well so can't complain, trouble is I can't get time off next week for half term as deadlines are looming!
Heating is off at the moment, although I nearly caved in last night but I'm determined to get to 1st November without it going on and I'll review it after then. The wood burning stove has been lit and we were given some wood by a lovely lady so that will see us through next years winter!
I've even bought a few Christmas presents, a few were on sale in Mr S so bought some hair straighteners for DD, socks for DS and the mandatory chocolate coins and snowmen from Ald*.
I'm going to have to be more organised this year as work will be manic in the run up to Christmas and New Year.
DD is throwing herself into all the school activities on offer, making new friends and generally just loving her new school.
DS is starting to think about his gcse options and which career path he will be taking. He's got something in mind, which is absolutely petrifying me but he has to make his own choices in life!
My office at home looks like a bomb has gone off so once next week is done I'm going to give it a good sort out and organise it so it should be a more pleasant environment to work in.
Think that's about it from me, back to work xxx0 -
