HP Priner won't print PDF

Had the problem of Adobe claiming no printer installed (nothing wrong with the printer or its set up at all). Just needed to update to Adobe Reader V10.1.1 http://get.adobe.com/reader/

I've done that, no joy.

Try adobe 10.1.1 as above, if no change, use the HP driver check

Just seen about adobe 10.1.1 so it is looking like the printer or its software so changing the drivers is the next thing

Though someone said they installed this and it solved it

Have tried the converters, but none of them work, some convert, but not the right formatt, it's a family tree chart, which I have been informed by the sender is abt 35 pages to print! I may have to just get typing! Many thanks anyway.

Can it be sent in a different format? Or could they print and post it to you, the local library may be able to print it, or maybe a friend has a printer which can do it

I would ask HP about it though, it must be a big enough problem if they have made help pages for it

Its a known issue with HP 4*** printers and Adobe reader.

Adobe screws up the print spooler with HP drivers.

It has been ignored by both companies for years and will probably continue.

Easiest fix is use Foxit reader or buy a different printer.
