That is all I really wanted to know, the idea was if I do not know the answer or how to go about finding the answer how is he to know what the 5 physical features are? Just tried to get ahead myself with some knowledge of 5 physical features, didn't know them thought I would do a bit of research, not here you go son this is what mum has done for you today, here are copy and paste and there you go, homework done.
He will know what physical features are because he will have been taught it in class. They are quite general, then all he'll need to do is a quick google search for Spanish examples.
I didn't say you were going to write it for him, but finding the information independently is an important skill, if he comes to you for help you could try explaining how to do a effective google search (keywords, "", AND OR etc.) and talking to him about how to make sure the information is reliable.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -

He needs to learn where to get the information from.
He needs to learn to assess what is relevant & what is not.
You finding it for him & knowing the answer will not help with those skills.
I have found the information for me, not to pass it on, if comes on finds the info and then asks I will tell him well yes that is relevant, no that is not one of the 5 features etc that is all0 -

A kid brought in a gingerbread saxon house just before Christmas, it didn't last more than about 30 mins but was very tasty.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -

I think a lot of posters just find this bizarre. Since the homework has nothing to do with you, it's interesting that you want to 'get ahead of yourself'.
Perhaps it's not hand holding your son, but only very few parents would actually be interested in their child's homework for its own sake, to the point of researching it online themselves and posting about it here. It isn't necessarily the behaviour of a 'caring parent', it could indicate several things including a very controlling parent or an incredibly bored parent, amongst other things. It's clearly a priority for you though, for some reason.
At least you know more about the world we live in though.:D0 -
Well yes call me bored:rotfl::rotfl: controlling no, what he has to do with his homework is his business:D of course I am interested in my sons homework what parent wouldn't be? They even put it online now so that the kids cannot lie about that they have none:rotfl:
We have been on outings for history with him for castles and stuff and why not? Taken him to relevant homework museums and why not? It all adds to his education and our family entertainment.
Priority? No, not really, just happened no big deal:D0
