Thanks for the answers, I have put islands, export and import (not sure that is a physical feature?) volcanoes, the maps, highlighted the capital, said about the euros, where it is located, etc, mountains, rivers and vegetation, that is 1,2,3,4,5, done off for lunch;)
If you aren't actually doing his homework and just 'trying to be a little informed' then where exactly have you 'put' this? Rhetorical, as it's obviously his homework sheet/book.
Why do parents do their children's homework? Talk about not getting it...If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
Making a motte and bailey castle if this is to be a project, then a couple of years ago DD's friend made one out of cake. Chocolate fingers for fences etc.0

Just put bits and bobs in word pad on the comp in documents that is all, just trying to know a bit about it so when he asks me...that is all, nothing more.
It is called being interested in your sons homework, keeping informed about it so when he asks me I can help him, guide him, look clever, not do it for him, the same as the motte, on his behalf I have collected empty milk bottles and ice cream tubs and instead of throwing out the card and the paper kept them is that doing is homework, or just helping him out and showing an interest?
I have no intention of doing a castle but having got the bits and bobs does that make me the dooer?0 -

You sure your son isn't in my class? Sounds a lot like the homework I set for Year 7 lol.
Physical Features are non-made parts of the environment or "What the Earth itself is like" so all the things you said plus things like climate, volcanoes, deserts, coast line, islands, lava tubes, volcanoes, rock formations (some good ones in Tenerife), valleys, types of animals.
Exports and imports are not physical, nether is the capital. They are human features. Maps would be a bit dubious as well, not a physical feature, although your son could put Europe as a physical feature, locating Spain.
I agree with sambuscus, it doesn't really matter if you son gets it right or not - it's reinforcing what he has learnt and teaching him self-study skills. You doing it for him or giving him 'excessive help' won't help him long-term.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -

Not helping him find the information for himself. He needs to be able to do this.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -

I am not doing it for him, the lad doesn't even know I have bits and bobs in word pad, never told him, don't need to, it is his homework, he can do as he pleases, it was for me to see what he will have to answer etc and when he asks me I can come with some guidance as to where to look for the answer, that is it0 -

Uhm how many times he is doing it for himself, it is not due in for a few weeks, he knows nothing of the research I did today, he does know I have it in wordpad, what I was doing, what I looked at, what I found out, I did it for myself and to be a bit more informed should he come to me, it is called being a caring parent, is it not?0 -

That is all I really wanted to know, the idea was if I do not know the answer or how to go about finding the answer how is he to know what the 5 physical features are? Just tried to get ahead myself with some knowledge of 5 physical features, didn't know them thought I would do a bit of research, not here you go son this is what mum has done for you today, here are copy and paste and there you go, homework done.0 -

He needs to learn where to get the information from.
He needs to learn to assess what is relevant & what is not.
You finding it for him & knowing the answer will not help with those skills.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0
