I was going to say deserts. Maybe that's not quite the right word, but when we drove through Spain to Portugal once the whole place just looked like one big desert.
But I think islands is a better answer.0 -
Thanks for the answers, I have put islands, export and import (not sure that is a physical feature?) volcanoes, the maps, highlighted the capital, said about the euros, where it is located, etc, mountains, rivers and vegetation, that is 1,2,3,4,5, done off for lunch;)0

He has to make a motte and bailey castle also so we looked for inspiration on the internet and look at this one:rotfl: there is no way I have the time or the inclination to construct such an elaborate castle, look at it it takes up the whole of the table:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
As a former teacher I am wondering why you are so involved in your son's homework?
If it is not to look ignorant if he asks you, fine. If it is to improve your own knowledge, fine, good for you.
But please don't do it for him. It sounds as if part of the task may be to develop his research skills, so don't hand him the answers on a plate.0 -
at 11 he should be doing his own homework and asking if he gets stuck not sitting down with you to do it. If my son asks me something I don;t know i say I don't know - how do you think we can find out...that way he's learning the answer and some research/ problem solving skills tooPeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Physical features usually means features which are not made by man for example - rivers, mountains, hills, valleys, volcanoes etc

Your son should be doing his homework alone & coming for help as & when it is needed.
He needs to learn how to locate information himself.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0
