20 posts lol, but like most of the public i cant believe what this is all about i am actully looking forward to my letters now. it became clear when i got the diffrences between penalty and parking charges. i feel like parking there everyday and canceling my parking permit of 150 pounds and become cp plus headache, just hope they dont come to my work with the headache and looking for treatment, will direct them to a private hospital and slap them with a PCN (paracetmol charge notice) :j:beer:

I have checked out your 'notice' and it is indeed (as we all knew) an invoice inviting you to pay them some of your cash. So that should set your mind at rest

So, sit down, relax and wait for the letters to come through and just laugh at their hollow threats.

On a serious note (although I know you are joking) no one would advise you to cancel your permit or avoid paying a valid charge in a in any car parks, including private owned/managed car parks. You always run the risk (possibly very minor) of finding a clamp on your car if you did this and then you have to deal with that! However, if you or anyone else makes an error or mistake in this or another private car park, please advise them not engage with the company at all and send them here if they need proof, and just ignore.

Spread this around at the hospital as well, let them know exactly what the scam is and how they go about, they have no right of appeal and they are just been invited to pay a speculative invoice and it is not a penalty!

In your case you have a valid permit, which you paid a £150 for, so because you have paid how can they claim any damages, because they have not lost anything... so you owe them a big fat £0!

hi all, got my third letter to today regarding same pcn as discussed above. the pcn fee has now been passed on to debt recovery plus. all big red and black letters, debt! ccj blah blah. For a moment got me of guard but quickly came to light about the fact that cp plus ltd, parking collections and debt recovery plus are all the same company. will try and scan the letter onto pc and put it on image shack for a bit of a glance by you experts.

    regards

You don't need to upload your letters, I expect they already appear on the top thread we referred you to in a previous reply. Look at 'PPC letters, what to expect', and check all mentions of PCS and DRP, not just the pics listed under 'your' PPC:

I bet the letter chain is following one of those examples shown.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

got another letter today and as informed by you guys twas as expected. Outlining court fees etc etc. Intrestingly they dropped the price by £20 without even saying that they would accept less. Makes you wonder what goes on in there office that they dont seem to remember that its meant to be 120.
only a few more letters to go and freedom

  • It is particularly distressing around Christmas time when your pet scammer misses you off the Yuletide threatogram list. I feel like getting a few more scammer 'fines' just to feel wanted. Serously- I am glad you faced down the scammers and spread the word. Hit the pondlife in the profits.
Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!

    What a bargain, LOL!

...or you could put the £80 towards a Christmas present for a loved one. :)
