what worries me is that when i asked for photo evidence they sent pics of my car with the pcn on the front window screen, also that it is council land, but monitored by cp plus. i have asked for a copy of the ticket and they have not replied to that one. thanks for helps

You are still taking it far too seriously and still calling it a PCN!
You haven't yet read the sticky threads I mentioned above nor viewed the Watchdog link then? A fake 'PCN' with a pretty picture of a car on it is featured...please read the stickies, watch the Watchdog solicitor and take in the info provided on here, on the forum (read some other threads).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

wow thanks am feeling a bit better allready. but yes the council own the land that the trust is built on just checked with the trusts car parking department. So yes council land and they put a tender out for private parking firms to patrol the site. It was awarded (LOL) to cp plus.
will keep it in mind and am wondering how many letters i will get from them now. is very intresting set up this cp plus pcs and the other company all of the same:beer:The word about the scammers is spreading like marmite here in the westcountry.
We workers all love it and the ppc hate it :rotfl:0 -
my last concern though is could it be a genuine pcn as the council have given the rights to cp plus to enforce parking etc on the hospital site? as if the cp plus monkeys werent doing it then it would still be the council doing the pcn
regards

It is called a PCN but what you have got is a "PARKING" charge notice = PCN What people are saying is you haven't received a PCN which is a "PENALTY" charge notice = PCN.
A trick by the PPC's to trick you into thinking you have received an official PCN, then the yellow and black envelope again a deliberate attempt to copy an official PCN!
If it was an official PCN it would not be passed to "parking collections" if it was an unpaid council PCN it would have gone to the TEC [traffic enforcement centre] in Northampton!
It may well be council land but it will be leased to someone, or contracted to CP Plus, but it will be private!0 -

if someone could gloss over it which i think is a fairly standard letter. where it reads on the above date a charge notice was issued i was the registered keeper of the car, yeap i am.
the next paragrath states: the notice to the owner has been sent to you as the registered keeper of the vehical because a Charge Notice (PCN) was issued to the vehicle as shown above and presently full payment has not been received. due to this we have contacted the DVLA in order to obtain the details of the registered keeper. was allwed 14 days to pay a discounted ammount. any ammount already paid was recevied outside the permitted discount period. It is now to late to pay at the reduced rate.
BIG BOLD BLACK LETTERS lol, THIS PARKING CHARGE NOTICE HAS NOT BEEN PAID
AMOUNT NOW DUE £100
then the usual for you experts, failure to pay will result in our client forwarding the outstanding amount to a debt recovery agency where you may incur further costs.
now i know lots of peeps have gone for the ignore option which as present as am I, but i cant keep the niggling feeling that it seems gen as they state i recevied a charge notice.
they call it a charge notice and in brackets (PCN).
sorry to rant on and it is really helpful this site and with solid sound advice i appriciate all the help and words that have been offered

20 posts lol, but like most of the public i cant believe what this is all about i am actully looking forward to my letters now. it became clear when i got the diffrences between penalty and parking charges. i feel like parking there everyday and canceling my parking permit of 150 pounds and become cp plus headache, just hope they dont come to my work with the headache and looking for treatment, will direct them to a private hospital and slap them with a PCN (paracetmol charge notice) :j:beer:The word about the scammers is spreading like marmite here in the westcountry.
