  • haha I love this I have 10 year old fiat cinquento 1.1.....i would class this as a low emmision car.....in comparison to a hummer or range rover haha
  • What is the point of low emission cars parking closest. If the Pug 107 is anything to go by they cant put much more than a briefcase in what is laughingly called a boot.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • Placing a massive slab of tarmac over land is a terrific way to demonstrate your green credentials and increase the local flood risk.

It's amazing how anything that is dressed up with an ecological motive is naturally deemed to exhibit moral superiority, even when the basis is blatantly flawed.

Dig up the car park and turn it into a garden - now that would be green - fat chance

Sorry but I think this is a two fingered salute to the majority of shoppers.

Why? How often did you park at the door, nearer than the disabled and children spots, before the refurb?
  • Even if I had a low emission car, which I don't (145 g/km co2) whatever that means. I would not park anywhere near the door anyway. It always amazes me that people will drive around for hours waiting for a parking space 2cm bigger than their car just so they can be a 1 min walk nearer the door. Anyway how do you define a low emission car. As someone stated if they say anything just point out that your car is parked and when it is parked it is not emitting any co2.

£500? Stop showing off. Mines was £400..

You posh get, I paid £300 for my 4th Gen Honda Civic (which still runs sweet as a nut and the 20yr old electric windows & sunroof work flawlessly)

there were/are a lot of normal parking spaces at the side of the front door closer than some of the disabled/parent spaces.

  • Mmm. If they introduce that round here I may be tempted to buy a rusty old electric milk-float or old farm tractor for shopping........

no one is stopping you parking a couple of metres further away, ive never parked anywhere but the back of any supermarket car park...ever! (i like the walk)

I wonder how many people will go "well, I was going to buy a Hummer, but if I buy a Prius I can park closer to the doors at Asda. Prius it is!"
