time is dodgy though - how can you guarantee that the time on the camera is correct and not out by minutes (or even hours!)
cameras do lose and gain time - they are not connected to an internet time server like your computer!0 -

It will go to court, and both parties will deny being the driver.
You OH might seem to be the most obvious driver but all he should do is insist that the driver could not have been him.
Will have a good look at the pic once it arrives, thankyou.what is the time on the penalty ? lesson usually run hour to hourSlightly mad mummy to four kidlets aged 4 months,6,7 and 8:D:D xx

Borrow another phone and try phoning the instructor on that - he may be screening your calls by ID. If he answers and then hangs up when he realises its your OH, I'd be very suspicious.Adventure before Dementia!0

Some other things to consider include WHERE this took place, and the DIRECTION the car was travelling. This will give a clue as to whether the car was travelling towards your home, or away from it.0

That's fine, but the onus is on your OH to reply to the best of his knowledge - do not risk missing the 28 day deadline if the instructor isn't being forthcoming.
Have you and your OH definitely exhausted all possible lines of enquiry to check the times and dates of driving lessons?0 -
So hubby finally got hold of the instructor. He says he can't remember going through a red light but has hubby down as having a lesson on his records at that time. Also is offering to pay the fine but tbh the fine is not the issue it's those damn 3 points! Bit of a dilemma really, hubby isn't sure if he should contest it but we're waiting on the picture.
Also thinking we should contact the AA because we're really not happy with the supposed supervision the instructor was giving at the time. Thanks for all the replies xSlightly mad mummy to four kidlets aged 4 months,6,7 and 8:D:D xx

IMO that smacks of a guilty instructor.
It's a bit like the Iraq inquiry with the MP's simply claiming that they had no memory of the events in question, and why would an instructor offer to pay a fine for someone else if they thought that it was not them driving?0 -
