Well you've seen the photo, what colour were the lights when he went through?
Well you don't know as you weren't there so trot off and ask him.
Don't see why he couldn't post himself.
No I wasn't there and for all hubby knows he wasn't either.I don't have to explain to you why I'm asking and hubby isn't.I'm looking for advice not criticism of me trying to help my husband out with a stressful situation that has some fairly serious implications.
So please ..enough of the condescending "trot off" comments..Slightly mad mummy to four kidlets aged 4 months,6,7 and 8:D:D xx

There has been no denial. All along the OP has tried to blame the instructor. There clearly is no doubt as to who was driving.
You are talking rubbish. How can you say there is no doubt who was driving if hubby himself doesn't know!?I have said actually that hubby is responsible too in this thread but will not apologise for being angry with the instructor aswell.Slightly mad mummy to four kidlets aged 4 months,6,7 and 8:D:D xx

Could you give the link to the place where you saw a clear photograph showing that the OP's husband was driving the car.
At the moment the only photo seems to be one taken from the rear of the vehicle with no faces shown.
If this is your interpretation of "no doubt", I would hate to have you on the jury if I was ever wrongly charged with a criminal offence.0 -
Bigjl is off his medication again by the look of it.
(But he has made a few posts without accusing anyone of failing the test to be an ambulance driver, so that's progress)0 -
Just another point to note, I picked up 3 points for running a red light when I was a youngster, I have to say there was no discernible difference in the cost of insurance before or after due to having a TS offense like that on my license.
I don't think insurance companies see it as a huge issue, might be worth checking with some, quotes with or without?0 -
The AA Driving School is very concerned about the situation described here. Please would you contact us on “drivings@theaa.com” and state “MSE complaint” in the subject heading. It would be helpful as well to have your husband’s pupil number if you have it, and the name of the instructor you learnt with. Thank you.“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of The AA. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -

Whatever.I'm sure you'd be totally fine with it all if it was you in this position right?
No, but perhaps because he ran a red light with cars waiting to turn in his path. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
