Good morning. Took myself off last night as far away from PS3 and printers:eek::eek:

Anyway went back into the ps3, the numbers were not exactly as you said, have now changed them and they are as you said, PS3 is still on moderate......But son manged to play online this morning, abt 6.30 in the morning.....and it's still moderate?
Morning, took wife out early last evening so I didn't get back to you earlier, anyhow I guess you have a son going to school moderately happy. I confess I don't know what the term moderate means in PS3 terms but it would appear that all is well (for now)

Many thanks for all your help over this week!!! Shall try it again when son gets in see if it still works.......when he has different games, we don't need to go through all this again do we?? I really can't get over how hard this has been, the Xbox was a doddle compared to the ps3, or was it me being plain stupid:o

I think moderate would be nat type 2 (the PS3 reports nat type 1, 2 & 3 with 3 being the most restricted).

Mine shows nat type 2 (and has done for the last few years) and has allowed me to play online without any major issues so far.

Yes it said nat type 2, I'm sure. I hope it does work this has driven me crazy:rotfl:

    plus poor debitcardmayhem:T

The ports will either be listed on the support sections on the publishers website or in the game manual.

I am not impressed after all this carry on this week, with Sony. I thought I was a little computor savy! But this was beyond me, and I'm sure there are ppl out there worse than me. The Xbox is a doddle compared to this, but anyway moan over thanks for your help!
