On the router itself the wireless icon is not on. Do I need to do something to my laptop its not wireless....0

have to log into the router again then, make sure it's switched on, and there should be a setting called Idle Timeout or similar, find it and set it to 0 (zero)......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
