Okaaaaay - so let me get this right .... it's okay to slag off Christian beliefs in response to saying that IN MY OPINION marriage should be between man and woman! Wierd Factor 1 that that's alright!
How the heck did I tell anyone what to do? I told you what my opinion was - AND MADE IT CLEAR IT WAS MY OPINION. Which I'm entitled too
Quite frankly if you two are gay then no wonder I think you're wierd and it's got nothing to do with who you choose to shag!!!!
Not sure why you are mixing posts up and quoting me as saying something someone else did but each to their own....
I think it's more than obvious that a lot of these posters totally against this whole thing could potentially be gay and covering their feelings but even that is irrelevant so your post of "Quite frankly if you two are gay then no wonder I think you're wierd and it's got nothing to do with who you choose to shag!!!!" sums up the whole religious argument....0 -

But many obviously would, don't play the dumb card. You can take the truth as an insult if you wish however you need to accept realism.0 -
I see johnnyboyrebel's back to his old tricks of insulting anyone he disagrees with. First it was "religious nut", then it was swearing, now it's people needing to be locked up in a padded room. He still doesn't comprehend that it is possible to debate any topic without resorting to insulting those he disagrees with.
You obviously haven't read my posts. This is not a debate. It is not opinion. It is common sense. I speak sense, religion does not. That's, er, kind of it.:T0 -

Saying that someone who beliefs diferently to you is akin to being locked up for a severe mental health problem is extremely insulting. That's being realistic. :mad:Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

You, on the other hand, were clearly raised to be ignorant and disrespectful of other's faith. You, perhaps, need to re-evaluate your attitude, as you are much more of a "nut" and in much more need of being locked up than the religious people you happily judge!0

Who said that? Not me. I said anyone who believes in a story with people rising again and talking snakes needs a good kick up the !!!!, a word with themselves or a week in a padded cell.

Exactly my point, can't you just accept the fact that although you don't believe in God others do and it does not make them need to be locked up. You are being very obnoxious now with your bigoted views to use your argument maybe you're a closet Christian! :rotfl:Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

Well not exactly your point was it? You said I am saying anyone that does not agree with me needs locking in a padded cell when clearly I did not say that.
I can accept that other people believe in God however if you read all of my posts I have simply stated that what they believe in is clearly not true. Who cares what people believe? Not me. My concern is what they are actually believing. I could state that I am a firm believer in fairies and aliens which would make me sound a bit nutty yet a Christian can not only believe such nonsense but actually base their life on it. So this does not make them very nutty?
Its the beliefs themselves that make me concerned.0 -

Gay marriage? Should a person with ginger hair be able to marry someone fat? Why would it, or should it, concern me? No difference. Nothing to do with me.
I recall having a conversation with a guy in the pub years back, who was anti gay (generally), because of the ick factor. I told him I thought the idea of him having sex with his wife was repellent, but it'd not occurred to me to think they shouldn't be married. No, I didn't get punched!0
