Now Now, I admit it was stupid going for a job that involved carrying cupboards with my bad balance.:beer:0 -

Have you been to the University Disabled Officer, I'm sure they will have resources to help there, or be able to assess your capabilities (and I dare I say it disability) and 'guide' you towards more favourable employers. Its a sad fact that many small business'/ employers cannot provide employment. I am a lorry driver and whilst you I'm sure you can drive, there is a large amount of lifting and shifting to be done, its not everyones cup of tea.
I once knew a guy who wanted the opportunity to 'have a go' at everything (he was disabled) and a damn danger to himself! Although he wasn't just disabled he was a liability!0 -

What they say at uni careers service is you are more likely to get a job being disabled in the NHS, Public Sector, or charity sector-- which does not sound right encouraging.:beer:0 -

Am I missing something mate? the NHS (massive) Public sector (probs the biggest) or charity (as massive)
Hope you didn't want to be an astronaught then or a frontline soldier, thats all thats left.

Surely you want a chance in private sector too!:beer:0 -
But you've said before you wouldn't really want to work in the private sector......?0
