Morning everyone
Overcast and very windy, not sure about the temperature as haven't ventured outside yet. DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock.
Had a nice weekend, went away in the caravan, stayed at a good site near the coast, which is less than an hour from home, so feel reasonably relaxed. Got a load of washing washed and dried when we got back yesterday afternoon, not sure about the rest as it's been raining heavily in the night although it's stopped now. We were good when we got back yesterday and didn't succumbe to a take-away, I cooked food at home, which saved us £20.
Hairdresser is coming tonight to re-colour me, and cut all the menfolk's hair, have not got any colour left in my hair at the moment so will be pleased to get it done. Dinner tonight is going to be pork chops, potatoes, veg and gravy, starting to feel like we need winter comfort food!
Back to work today for me, at the other office today so will be nice to see other colleagues, some of them I can't remember the last time I saw them, be nice to have a catch up. Have a busy weekend this next weekend, as it's a big chairman's/charity rally - DH is the current Chairman so it's organised by the committee for him - hoping we get a good turnout and everyone has a fabulous time. His term of office ends on 2 October, he's been Chairman for 3 years it's been full and busy - but can't believe it's passed so quickly, will be nice to take it a bit easier, if that's possible!
Have a great day everyone, hugs to those that need/want them, take care.

Getting breezy here but not bad. Sun out at the mo.
Dogs been walked. WM to go in a min with their bedding.
Best wishes to Molly and Suzybloo for this week.
Off to get the soup pot on. I'd like ham and split pea but I haven't any carrots and can't imagine it without them. Yes, I could go to the shops but I'm not
. Have v full cupboards so may do a grocery cupboard challenge this week. Ah but I do like to be well stocked up though. Maybe they just need sorting and re-arranging.
Have a good day folks and (((hugs))) to those feeling down, worried or under the weather.

So today I had another night littered with dreams and have woken up shattered again! Oh the joys of pregnancy
I have lost 1lb this week, I knew I would because my eating is going downhill again, I lost 21lbs at the start of the pregnancy, managed to platue for a while, then for 3 weeks I gained 1 lb a week and was over the moon, only to start loosing again. The weight gain/loss is totally linked to my eating, I had a look last night and i'm only eating 1400 - 1500kcals a day. DH is worried, but I just can't eat much before I feel sick and the heartburn get's me (and I am eating VERY bland food)! I have no appitite because all food hates me
I am not worried about the weightloss too much, only because what I eat is healthy, and I take my vitamins, so baby Roo should be fine, and I still have a few excess fat stores because I am normal
. But I do think my calorie intake is just too low, and most of it is butter, margarine, yogurt and milk (And considering I take calcium suppliments!) and I hate the smell of meat cooking so I hardly eat it!
I will text my midwife, but she only works PT so I won't hear from her for the best part of this week, and I don't see her for another 4 1/2 weeks!! Such a great service we get :rotfl:
Anyway, today I have to pop to Mr T (hope I don't faint in the que again ) to get some bits for my new bread machine so when it comes it'll go straight on
I have to sew on DS9 cub badges, he's really behind, but as I have been so poorly they have been really understanding (they are very strict about badges at cubs) but it's time I sort it out.
Hope everyone has a great day x
I would not worry too much about your weight or what you are eating. I was sick 24 hours a day for 9 months with both of my kids and could not bear looking at food. DD was exactly the same and was admitted to hospital 10 times during her pregnancy as now they take you in and pop you on a drip for fluids which they never used to do in my day. DD weight went really down hill. She looked like a heroin addict, terrible and rake thin. She had DGD who weighed 8lb and the morning after DD had her she ate everything in sight!! she was so happy not to be feeling sick . Unfortunately it seems to run in our family being really poorly when preggers. My nan poor thing had five kids and was the same with all five  Hopefully you will have a lovely midwife who understands as some just have a go and make you feel worse.
Good luck xxx0 -
Morning,
V windy here at the mo,but dry and not too cold..The house is fairly tidy after my Saturday blitz,so I might get some sewing time later. My ex SisIL came and tried my older machine and liked it so she will give me £30 for it,its better than it being stuck in the loft, and I don't have to pack & post it
We went to our footie match on Sat,and DS2 went to watch in the pub where we get on our minibus-his ex was there and wouldnt even say hello to him
,though chatted to me quite happily .He's now worrying about what she's going to be like after the birth with access etc.its less than 2 weeks to go.Consequently I'm not sleeping much either and feel a bit down.I dont feel I can say anything to her either as she can call the shots  and I dont want to rock the boat, but I hate the way she is being with him.Everyone says what a decent lad he is and they feel sorry for him.Oh dear sorry rant over...
I've got some gammon stock too so I'll transform that into soup soon.We had a ride over to our friends yesterday aft,& back later than expected,so popped the gammon joint into the pressure cooker, only took as long as the oven chips did
Molly and Suzy-good luck at hospital.x
Hugs to anyone else in need.x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Morning my lovelies

Up at 3am to let the cat out <rollseyes> and I shut the inner door to prevent her bringing anything further into the house. Little bleeder managed to open the door  I don't think she was very impressed with the wind and rain :rotfl:
DS decided 5.30am was a good time to get up so will be living on coffee this morning and I've already eaten a load of carp after having my breakfast
Anyway housework on the menu today, might make Monday's my weekly house bless (sorry but that's waaaaaaaay to twee for me) a la Flylady. Got soup on the go in the SC and more washing to go on.
Windy out there, parents had a rought night in Devon in their caravan but they're staying put til tomorrow night. Good job really as local news suggested gusts up 55mph here. I know it's not like "oop north" but still dodgy for towing.
JulieG - I really wouldn't worry too much about WHAT your eating, the main thing is about staying hydrated and eating what you can keep down xxx
molly - postive vibes the postie brings you GOOD news today xx
Mrs Mix - Happy birthday xx
Hugs and spoons all round. Hope no one has suffered any damage with the wind so far. Stay safe all
